(Minghui.org) Seven residents from Chiping County, Shandong Province are likely facing trial after the local procuratorate submitted its indictments against them on April 7.

They were arrested along with three other locals last July while distributing materials exposing the persecution of Falun Gong. The police attempted twice first on December 9 and then on February 27 this year to move forward with prosecuting them, but the procuratorate dismissed the cases both times, citing insufficient evidence.

After fabricating more evidence, the police managed to get the procuratorate to indict seven of the ten arrested practitioners, who all remain at Liucheng Detention Center.

Arrest and Subsequent Indictments

The police ransacked the homes of the ten practitioners on the second day of their arrest on July 20, 2014, and confiscated their Falun Gong books and informational materials. Mr. Yang Yuxi's van was also impounded.

The practitioners' families visited the local police station many times requesting their loved ones' release, but to no avail.

The police later released four of the practitioners on bail on August 27 after extorting a large sum of money from their families. Mr. Liu Sheng, Mr. Lin Xiuwei, Ms. Song Guifeng, and a woman with a given name of Linfen (whose family name needs to be verified), however, were arrested again on April 9 this year after being tricked into going to the Liucheng Police Department.

Mr. Yang, Mr. Lin, Ms. Song, Linfen, Mr. Li Xizhu, and a woman surnamed Chen (whose first name needs to be verified) are confirmed to have been indicted.

It is not clear who among the remaining four practitioners, including Mr. Liu, Mr. Wang Chengguo, Mr. Lang Yujie, and Mr. Wang Yusheng, is the last one to be indicted.
