(Minghui.org) Many government officials in China now oppose the persecution in China. They have learned the truth about Falun Gong and the propaganda spread by the Party to defame it. Below are two examples.

Removing Defamatory Remarks

Ms. Zheng, a street food vendor, was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness four years ago. A practitioner heard about it and spoke with her, telling what Falun Gong really is and how innocent practitioners have been mistreated in China for their beliefs.

The practitioner advised Ms. Zheng to recite “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

Not only did Ms. Zheng's health improve, so did her business. Encouraged by this, she told her son to respect Falun Gong practitioners. Her son agreed, behaved accordingly, and he too, it seems, was blessed.

Ms. Zheng's son decided to apply for a government position. Although it seemed hopeless, he passed the test and was later assigned to work in the propaganda office of the Procuratorate. “We never thought we would be so lucky,” the food vendor said. She attributed her son's success to the fact that they both held a positive view of Falun Gong.

One day at work, Ms. Zheng's son saw a draft of a document that had three sentences slandering Falun Gong. He crossed out those sentences without hesitation because he did not want such lies to continue to mislead people.

Officials Don't Want to Listen to a Tip Off

A practitioner went to visit a friend in a government agency to talk with him and his coworkers about Falun Gong.

Another officer came in, saw what was going on, and threatened the practitioner, “If you dare continue, I will call the 610 Office.”

“I hope you won’t, because it will not do you any good,” replied the practitioner calmly.

The man did not listen. He picked up a phone on a desk and started dialing. Another officer went over to the phone and put the receiver down, disconnecting the call.

The man did not give up. He dialed a number on his cellphone and said, “We have a Falun Gong practitioner here telling others about Falun Gong. Please come and arrest him.” The recipient of the call did not say anything and hung up.

The man tried again. This time a woman at the other end of the line said, “We no longer do that [arrest practitioners].”

The volume on his phone was loud and everyone in the office heard what the woman said. Embarrassed, the man walked out.
