I was truly touched by the magnificent image of the Dafa Practitioners upon hearing and witnessing the things they have said and done before and after my trip to Beijing. At the same time, I noticed many shortcomings in my own cultivation. Therefore, I have decided to work harder to become a truly qualified disciple.

Prior to leaving for Beijing, I had a discussion with some of the practitioners who had come back from Beijing. They had been to Beijing a few times. They told me about the Fa rectifying actions taken by practitioners from all over the country and also about their own experiences in the detention center. They were physically and verbally abused, as well as fined, etc. When they were describing their experiences, they looked very calm unlike an ordinary person. It was at that moment that I decided to break through my human shell and join the Fa rectification. A few days later, just before going to Beijing, a practitioner came to visit. Upon learning of my intention to go to Beijing, she immediately decided to go with us without a second thought. We left together the next morning. Prior to the trip, she did not get a chance to make plans for her family members and family matters. She knew exactly what would happen to her, but she did not fear at all

In Beijing, we met practitioners from seven or so provinces. We drank cold water, ate bread, sat and slept on very simple beds but none of the practitioners were in low-spirits. We all took advantage of this opportunity to learn Dafa, exchange our experiences and practice the exercises. The atmosphere was peaceful and righteous. One of the elderly female practitioners shared her experience with us. She was detained in the Tiananmen Square detention center and was tortured and abused because of her refusal to tell them her name and address. She endured them all. In the end, the police did not know what to do with her so they let her go. She insisted on taking the confiscated Dafa books with her but they would not allow it. She calmly and consistently asked for the books. Ultimately, they finally gave them to her. She came from the countryside but her pure and righteous look had moved me to tears.

Before we went to Tiananmen, I decided to hold the banner on the GoldenWater Bridge. However two of the younger female practitioners insisted on doing that. I did not realize until later on that it was because they did not want me to go through the more severe torturing that "banner-openers" would have to face. Another practitioner from NanChan was a middle manager of a certain company and had been in Beijing for a month. He had always been responsible for picking up out-of-town practitioners. Time after time, he brought his camera to Tiananmen Square and took numerous pictures of practitioners rectifying Fa and being arrested by the police. However, this time he was caught while he was taking pictures of us being arrested. Prior to being put in the police van, he passed the camera to somebody else. He also threw his address book out of the van. He smiled even while the police were kicking and punching him.

In the Tiananmen detention center, I met a couple from suburban Beijing. They said they had realized late in time as to what they should have done, came to Beijing late and felt terrible about it. They insisted on giving me the cooked eggs that they brought with them. I took it, passed it around the 50 or 60 practitioners in our cell, but no one took it. It was already 5pm and nobody had eaten lunch. Yet, not even the 5-year-old practitioner complained about being hungry. One of the female practitioners was loudly exchanging cultivation experiences with other practitioners. The guard yelled at her: "Shut up" She said, "Why should I listen to you? I will talk as I please; it is the basic human right." The guard asked her to step over and slapped her a few times. Blood immediately came out from the side of her mouth but she was not moved at all. She continued to exchange cultivation experiences with others. When we were interrogated, an elderly practitioner in her sixties or seventies insisted on not telling her name and address. The police took turns beating her up; they seemed out of control. They took her to another room and beat her up even more viscously. She still stood firm by her decision when they dragged her back to the cell. With the Teacher and Dafa in her heart, she swore to safeguard Dafa until death and insisted on not answering any questions that were out of line and disrespectful.

One of the practitioners was sent to the office of local representatives in Beijing. He got out of his handcuffs effortlessly. He walked out while the guard was sleeping and went straight to Tiananmen Square. Not until the second time he practiced exercise in front of the Tiananmen Square was he arrested. One of the female practitioners in my cell said she only had a second grader's education. It was Dafa that gave her the ultimate wisdom and enabled her to read Zhuan Falun with ease. When exchanging cultivation experiences with her, I could not tell that she only had a second grader's education. Whenever I showed human sentiments or other ordinary thoughts, she always pointed them out for me immediately. During the process of Fa rectification, all of the practitioners that I met believe that this darkness before dawn will be over soon. Eventually, we will be able to celebrate with the whole world. We are the best out of all people; the Gods who safeguard Dafa in this human world. No evil force can hinder the process of Fa rectification.
