On September 9th and 10th, the yearly Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations [September 12 is the Chinese reunion holiday] were held at Memorial Park, which is south of the Bay area. Local and nearby Falun Dafa practitioners joined in these activities. A tent was rented a month ahead of time. We also registered with the program sponsor in order to demonstrate the Falun Dafa exercises.

We showed "Falun Gong; The Real Story" and Master Li’s exercise instruction video at our booth. Dafa materials and photos were displayed around the booth. Some practitioners did the exercises on the grass, while others distributed materials that introduced Falun Gong and that explained the truth about Falun Gong.

On September 9, our demonstration was repeatedly postponed due to schedule changes. We quietly waited by the stage from 3:30 in the afternoon until about 6:00. With one practitioner introducing and explaining Falun Gong to the audience, we successfully finished our demonstration of the exercises. The program host expressed his appreciation for the patience of our practitioners. He told the audience that we proved ourselves to be the cultivators of truthfulness, benevolence and forbearance. He then moved our second day's demonstration to take place before noon.

During this festival, we met many sincere people who wanted to know more about Falun Gong and to learn the exercises. We felt very encouraged and wanted to do better in promoting the Fa and telling the truth to the world.
