Rectify the Fa When Forced to Roam

(Clearwisdom.net) Because of the evil's persecution, I have left home. I have lived the life of a homeless person, roving about, for over eight months now and have already been to two provinces, two cities, seven counties and countless villages. I kept firmly in mind a Dafa practitioner's responsibility, "Validate the Fa with reason, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and offer people salvation with benevolence--this is establishing the mighty virtue of an enlightened being." ("Rationality") I rectified the Fa and offered to save people wherever I went.

1. Keep up with the Fa-Rectification Process and Discard Fundamental Attachments

Before the Chinese New Year 2000, city police station personnel notified me to attend a brainwashing class. I remembered that Teacher told us, "Don't voluntarily let the evil take you away."("Rationality") So I left home. At first, because I was afraid, I hid in my relative's home. The vicious police went to my home, harassed my husband and asked for me, seven or eight times a day. Around the clock, plain-clothes police officers guarded all street intersections near the building where my family stayed. The evil forces even went to my work unit to harass people. Teacher said, "The more fearful they are inside, the more the evil will specifically go after such students." Several days later my husband called and told me to hide somewhere else. I went to my husband's friend from the military. Unexpectedly, his family wouldn't let me in because the whole city knew there was a warrant out for my arrest. Winters in northeast China are very cold, and I was left standing out in the blistering wind and snow. I didn't know the way back to my relative's home, and I couldn't stay on the street freezing, so I hailed a taxi and just drove around. Surprisingly, the taxi driver drove me and stopped in front of my relative's home. I felt sad and happy at the same time, because I knew Teacher led me to the relative's home. "My Fashen will protect you until you are able to protect yourself. "(Zhuan Falun)

Teacher said, "Amid tribulations, it is very difficult for a practitioner to see the cause of a matter; but it's not that it is impossible. When he calms down and evaluates everything according to Dafa, he will be able to see the nature of the matter." ("Rationality") With a calm mind, I began to evaluate myself with the Fa. I had slacked off in my Fa study and didn't persist practicing exercises during that time. I was evading, not cultivating. The greater my fear was, the more interference the evil gave my family and work unit. It was me who loosened myself and nurtured the evil. Teacher said, "Because the purpose of the old forces is to cause damage, when a practitioner has a strong attachment, his conduct is, strictly speaking, fundamentally a manifestation of his demon-nature and something brought about by emotion; it is not rational. The evil is then able to appear." ("Rationality") I discarded my fundamental attachment and my heart became really crystal clear. I wholeheartedly devoted myself to Fa-rectification.

2. Collect Predestined People in the Countryside who can be Saved

In early March, I went to a village in another province, more than a thousand Li [length unit, one Li = 0.3 mile] away and found other practitioners. I learned only a few people were doing truth clarification work and there was a lack of materials. They couldn't get Teacher's articles in time, either. Teacher said, "There have been all kinds of tribulations and you've encountered all kinds of difficulties. Relying on your own thinking and decisions, you've made it through." ("Lecture at the Great Lakes Conference in North America") On one hand, I told them about the progress of Fa-rectification and the situation of Fa-rectification in the city. I decided to immediately get in touch with fellow practitioners in the city and went back to get materials, to enable practitioners in the countryside to join in the current of Fa-rectification as soon as possible.

Once on the train, the police asked each passenger to open their luggage. I only had one thought on my mind at that time: "my bag is full of truth-clarifying materials of Dafa, I can't let them find these." The righteous thought was as rock-solid as a stone in my heart, and the evil's interference was dissolved. I heard that throughout the whole train, my compartment was the only one left unchecked. Like this, I went back and forth several times to deliver materials. After a couple of Fa conferences, and through sharing of experiences, practitioners who weren't clear about Fa-rectification were stimulated. Practitioners took turns writing paper slips and banners and posted them in various villages, which effectively suppressed the local evil and made the truth known to people. Some police learned about the truth. Not only didn't they interfere with us; they notified us when danger (of arrest) approached. Many people learned that Falun Dafa is a righteous law; practitioners matured through offering to save people and clarifying the truth.

On May 30, we held a Fa conference on a riverbank, which was attended by seventy to eighty practitioners from seven towns of two counties in two provinces. It rained a little when the conference first began. We sent forth righteous thoughts three times and persisted to hold the conference until the end. After the conference ended, right after we arrived at home, a downpour began. In this conference, through sharing of experiences, we achieved a righteous understanding regarding coming out to validate the Fa and clarify the truth to people. All of us dissolved into the Fa-rectification current. The issue of materials shortage was also solved soon after.

In early July, in order to eliminate the evil more effectively, we wrote almost eight hundred banners. At 11 p.m. on July 14, we decided that male practitioners hang the banners and female practitioners distribute and post flyers. Those days were the "sensitive days" set by the evil. We sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil and didn't acknowledge it. The police cars roared all day and night. Several practitioners not only posted banners all over the streets, they even posted a banner on the front gate of the police station. All practitioners retreated before dawn. We effectively struck and suffocated the rampant evil.

On our way back practitioner Wang was arrested. My responsibility was to protect the bag and materials in it. A plainclothes police person asked whose it was. I stood up from the back row and calmly said, "It's mine." He looked at me for a great while and left. I sent forth righteous thoughts along the way and put them into practitioner Wang's head, to suffocate the evil and escape the demon's claw. On the way I saw that the crops were dried and yellow. I cried. "When people do not have virtue, natural calamities and man-made disasters will abound. When the earth does not have virtue, everything will wither and fall." ("When the Fa is Right", Essentials for Further Advancement) People! Wake up! Don't listen to Jiang Zemin's lies anymore and don't persecute Dafa and Dafa practitioners. If you don't enlighten, Jiang will bring you boundless disasters. In contrast, the villages where we had validated Dafa grew very good crops.

On the third day, practitioner Wang safely walked out of the demon's den. While there, the evil wanted to take his picture. He sent forth righteous thoughts, "You can't take picture." And the camera immediately broke.

Another practitioner told me she read a so-called "Teacher's article" and showed it to me. I discovered right away that it was fake. She told me she got it from a village teacher. I found this teacher and talked to her for two days. I learned the source of the fake article and how many practitioners' minds were poisoned by it. It was mainly because they didn't study the Fa much and their minds stayed on the human level. It was very dangerous not to be able to tell right from wrong, real from fake. Teacher said, "Whatever you're attached to, they have evil elements to concoct lies in that regard. Even if you're afraid that Dafa is being undermined, they fabricate articles allegedly written by Master." ("Towards Consummation") Through Fa study and communication, that practitioner understood and immediately collected the fake articles she distributed and destroyed them, and completely dug out the root and eradicated the source.

In mid-August, after Teacher's article "Fa-Rectification Period Dafa Disciples" was published, we further explicitly understood our responsibilities. A practitioner told me that a county north of the river was very evil. Several towns had no practitioners. People there don't know about the truth. After discussing with fellow practitioners, one day eight of us went to four towns north of the river and hung over 400 banners. We also distributed over 4,000 truth-clarifying materials and worked for a whole evening. Before dawn, we rode a boat back to our lodgings. Later, we heard people from north of the river saying, "Falun Gong is miraculous. They came from heaven."

3. Do Not Give Up on Relatives, Offer Salvation to All Savable Sentient Beingsá

I always showed my relatives truth-clarifying materials every time I visited. They began to feel sympathetic to the persecuted Dafa practitioners, and sometimes they even helped me distribute truth clarifying materials or give directions. However, after they watched the lies and propaganda that slander Dafa on TV, they did not want me to stay at their home any more. They also opposed my distributing the truth clarifying materials. They called me crazy and asked me: Is it worth it to suffer this much, spend so much money, leave your family and career behind? They then talked nonsense. Teacher said in "Lecture on the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Conference": "Today's humans have in fact had tribulations arranged for them by this system of old forces at different levels, and humans have been controlled by the old forces at different levels. This is why they've become so forceful, why they dare to do things to cultivators, and why they dare to be disrespectful to Dafa."

I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evils interfering with them in other dimensions, and at the same time, I looked inwards for attachments, and became aware of certain issues. I still did not conduct myself according to the Fa and so was swayed by human sentiments. Therefore, I adjusted my approach and mentality by conducting myself according to the Fa. I told them: "Although I am wandering about and left my family because of the evil's persecution, I live a noble and open life and I have a clean heart. Whereas you fight with each other all the time just for petty personal interests and thus live the most tiring life. You don't even have the least conscience as a human being! So many Dafa practitioners have been tortured to death by vicious police, but you did not have the slightest feeling of justice. I told you that Dafa saves people and it's the righteous Fa cultivation way. Instead of listening to me, you believed the lies made up by the evil. You even slander Dafa, Teacher, and attack me with malicious words. If Teacher did not introduce Dafa to the public and Dafa practitioners didn't endure the tribulations created by the evil, then you wouldn't deserve to have today's environment. Gods know where your human body and soul is. You are even afraid of me although I am your family member. You really are ignorant and pathetic. If you continue to behave this way, you won't deserve to be a human being anymore."

I firmly held my righteous belief in Dafa and offered salvation to them. "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful." My younger sister cried and said to me: "Sister, I knew Falun Gong practitioners were all good people. I was afraid you'd be taken away and tortured by the malicious people." From not understanding me at the beginning, my relatives now sympathize with me. They have gradually come to understand the things I do and don't interfere with me any more. Now they look forward to listening to me speak about news related to Falun Gong, and they have started to pay attention to Falun Gong.á

4. Rectify Everything that is Not Righteous, Truly Assimilate Oneself to the Faá

Now is the last period of Fa-Rectification, every one of us Dafa practitioners should strengthen our own main consciousness at all times. We need to measure our thoughts and notions, inside and outside ourselves with the Fa, and rectify everything that is not righteous.

Once I saw an abnormal and devil-like balloon figure next to the door of a store and I immediately sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate it. On the next day, the strange balloon was still there. I reinforced and resent my righteous thoughts to eliminate it and found it was gone afterwards.

When I visited my relatives, I found that they throw away leftovers after every meal. I told them the principles of Dafa. Teacher said: "Everything on earth is created and destroyed for humans." [not official translation] "In addition to human beings and animals, plants are also lives. Any matter's life can manifest in other dimensions." "We cannot harm or take lives intentionally, ..." (Zhuan Falun) I told them, "You cook so much food and throw away the leftovers, you are actually committing a sin and accumulating karma." They understood that their behavior is a degenerated notion and cherishing everything is a manifestation of compassion, so they no longer waste food.á

We "Fa-Rectification Period Dafa Disciples" should truly assimilate ourselves into the Fa. At the current time, we should enthusiastically and actively rectify the Fa. The actions of rectifying the Fa are directly establishing one's own mighty virtues, fulfilling one's own vows, and enriching one's own paradise. During the progress of Fa-rectification, if every Dafa practitioner can strictly conduct himself according to Dafa every hour and every minute, then we will do well in each step.á
