Falun Dafa Practitioner Jia Yongfa from Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province Was Brutally Force-Fed, His Condition Is Uncertain

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Jia Yongfa, who was illegally detained in the second team of the Jiamusi City Labor Camp, was brutally force-fed through his mouth on October 2, 2001. Because of suffocation caused by the insertion the tube into his trachea, he was hospitalized immediately, and his life is uncertain.

Jia Yongfa, a worker in Hebei (City) Forest Department, 34 years old, had poliomyelitis and suffered from many other diseases since childhood. Eventually, he lost the ability to work. After practicing Falun Dafa, he recovered and became strong enough to handle heavy labor.

On July 20, 1999, he was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor for writing an appeal letter for Dafa to the government and sharing his own experience of the benefits of Dafa. On November 3, 2000, the labor camp refused to release him upon the completion of his term. To suffocate the evil force and explain the truth to the world, over a dozen practitioners escaped from the labor camp. Jia Yongfa was immediately caught and arrested. He suffered brutal torture and was sentenced to an additional year of forced labor. After appealing many times without success, and serving 11 months of his extended term, he began a hunger strike to protest.

Two other practitioners Qi Shuangyuan and Qin Xian'an, who had escaped with Jia Yongfa, went to Beijing to rectify the Fa by unfurling a banner. They were arrested and brought back to the labor camp, beaten viciously, locked in a confinement cell for more than 40 days, and watched closely. They were each punished with a sentence of 9 more months of forced labor.
