New Jersey: City Council of Elizabeth Proclaims Falun Dafa Day
On October 23, the City Council of Elizabeth, New Jersey passed a resolution proclaiming October 25 as Falun Dafa Day. Council Chairwoman Ms. Perkins-Auguste initiated the resolution. The resolution acknowledges the health benefits of Falun Dafa and its principles that contribute to society. The resolution also praises Falun Dafa for helping many young people and adults to turn away from alcohol, drugs and violence to pursue a more positive and meaningful life.
