The Second Russian Experience-Sharing Conference Ends Successfully on September 30

(Clearwidsom.net) The European Clear Harmony (Yuanming.net) web site reported (Oct. 1) that the two-day Second Russian Experience Conference ended successfully at a cinema in Moscow at 9:30pm on September 30, 2001. Over three hundred practitioners from nine countries attended the conference.

At four o'clock on September 29, the conference began with the music Pudu/Jishi [Salvation of all sentient beings]. After the opening, all attendees sent forth righteous thoughts together.

A Russian practitioner named Ivan gave an opening speech in fluent Chinese. He said, "Today, we make no distinction among Russian practitioners, western practitioners or Chinese practitioners; we are all Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples. Everything we do in this period is very important." After his speech, all attendees and five little practitioners on the stage holding candles stood in silent tribute for three minutes mourning for the practitioners who were persecuted to death in China. At that moment, tears flowed down many practitioners' faces.

Ten practitioners from Russia, Israel, Ukraine, U.S., and Sweden vividly talked about their cultivation experiences during the Fa-rectification period. A practitioner from St. Petersburg told a touching story. In order to expose the evil nature of Jiang Zemin's regime and clarify the truth, fourteen Russian practitioners formed a "SOS! Urgent: Rescue Falun Gong Practitioners Persecuted in China" bicycle team. Among them, the oldest was sixty-four and the youngest was twelve. They crossed nine cities in eight days and the whole journey was seven hundred kilometers. No matter whether in daytime or at night, no matter whether the wind was blowing or the rain falling, the sixty-four-year-old practitioner and the twelve-year-old practitioner were as energetic as the other practitioners. Whenever they arrived in a city, they promoted Dafa and clarified the truth. The local people warmly welcomed them. As they described it, "The team is like a yellow arrow, passing through every dimension, and eliminating the evil."

On September 30, the Second Russian Experience Sharing Conference ended in a lively, natural, and warm environment.

At the close of the conference, the representative of the Russian practitioners said, "Master, we will bring you better news in our future cultivation."

In order to attend this conference, many Russian practitioners took trains for five nights and the train tickets used up all their savings. Although many other practitioners were unable to attend the conference because they did not have enough money to buy the tickets, their hearts were with us. The practitioners who attended the conference will bring the spirit of the conference back to them.

After the conference was closed, the practitioners divided into small groups and continued discussing. Their discussions continued until very late. Seeing how so many practitioners put aside their work, traveled thousands of miles to come to Moscow, and attended the conference and the Fa-rectification activities, the Russian practitioners were moved and inspired deeply. However, a Swedish practitioner, seeing that Russian practitioners steadfastly expose the evil and clarify the truth under arduous conditions, said that "This is the conference that has touched me most. Compared with Russian practitioners, my life and cultivation environment are too comfortable. However, I do not strive as hard as they do. I found out the gap between me and them." A practitioner from Taiwan said, "Russian practitioners can step forward to validate Dafa in the face of pressures from the economy, time and emotion. They are remarkable. Compared with them, I feel ashamed. I will hurry up and do better."

All participants in the conference agreed that this conference was unusual and important; it will become an important milestone in the course of European Fa-rectification.
