My Understanding of Demonic Tribulations

"The Dharma's tribulation was a tribulation for humans and religions, rather than a tribulation for Buddhas." ("For Whom do You Practice Cultivation?" in Essentials For Further Advancement) Why do Dafa disciples have demonic tribulations? I think it is because we have not completely stepped out from humanness. They are tribulations because of human notions. These tribulations are imposed upon us by the old forces, because we have not thoroughly dissolved in Dafa.

Countless number of Dafa particles joined together and formed the Fa. Any impure particle could be an excuse for the old forces to impose tribulations. If all particles of the Fa are pure, and there are no omissions for the old forces to exploit, tribulations will no longer exist.

"Fear" stems from "selfishness"

When exchanging ideas with other practitioners, I often hear concerns about damage to the Fa, about departure from the Fa when doing things, and about making mistakes. However, on many occasions, those worries if traced, have selfishness as the root cause, and the Fa has been used to conceal the selfishness.

Complete Opposition

"A Dafa disciple completely opposes everything arranged by the evil old forces." (Dafa is Indestructible) I think we should not only disobey [the evil forces] with our actions, for example, leaving home when being told to attend brainwashing classes; going on hunger strikes when being detained in brainwashing classes, so that the brainwashing classes cannot proceed; breaking through the evil's blockade to clarify the truth, but more importantly, we need to completely oppose the old forces' arrangements in our thinking.

From a historical perspective, persecution against gods by human beings has become a custom. For example, Jesus was nailed to the cross, and Sakyamuni was also persecuted. This cannot be allowed to take place during the Fa rectification. "... as to our Dafa, let me tell you that nobody is worthy of testing It. Since all lives--and this includes every being in the cosmos--are created, made, and shaped by It, no one is worthy of testing It." (Speech by Master Li Hongzhi at the Western US Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference of Falun Dafa) Teacher does not accept these persecutions. Neither must we.

However, one notion often surfaces deep from my thoughts and takes form as, one should be arrested when stepping out to rectify the Fa and clarify the truth; and that one should be persecuted because of one's determination in Dafa. Such warped notions deep in our thoughts are forced upon us by the old forces. We need to completely oppose them, and not harbor even a flitting moment of such notions.
