A practitioner from China

After reading a Russian Practitioner's article "Discern the Forms of Demons and Quickly Complete the Process of Transforming from Humans to Gods ," I felt greatly inspired. Lately, similar problems have also appeared in our region: "This kind of demon pretends to very enthusiastically push the Fa-rectification process forward, and actively participates in many activities with practitioners such as group study and discussion, spreading the Fa and clarifying the truth. It creates many different false impressions in an attempt to shake the righteous beliefs of practitioners. This demon focuses its attention on the areas where the practitioners have omissions and tries to damage the Fa-rectification process." To sum up, the appearance of four kinds of sentiments in Dafa practitioners is related to this kind of demon's interference and damage.

1. The tendency to become impetuous

Upon reading the Teacher's new article "Lecture on the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Conference," some fellow practitioners, who have actively stepped forward to validate Dafa, deeply felt that there's not much time left for the Fa-rectification cultivation, so they became very anxious. They had a one-sided understanding that the cultivation within Fa-rectification is simply posting flyers, and distributing the truth-clarifying literature, so they neglected studying the Fa, and did not look inside and cultivate themselves. They have been busy doing things with the attachment of pursuing the quantity, and gradually developed the attachment of accomplishing tasks, which were taken advantage of by demons and resulted in bringing losses to the Fa-rectification.

"Under any circumstance, in any period, and no matter how busy you are with your work, you can't stray from your Fa-study, as this is what fundamentally ensures that you'll continue to improve and reach Consummation. You can't do Dafa work without studying the Fa, or it would be an everyday person doing Dafa work. It has to be Dafa disciples who do Dafa work--this is something required of all of you. If everyday people help with Dafa work, of course it's a good thing, but what I'm talking about is Dafa disciples. You must be a Dafa disciple doing Dafa work, because your Consummation is of primary importance. Right now, your Consummation is first and foremost. Of course, your being responsible to Dafa and saving sentient beings is part of your Consummation." ("Lecture on the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Conference")

It is not wrong to post flyers and distribute the truth-clarifying literature as much as possible. But we should also look "at their effectiveness." Some fellow practitioners said, "When our mind is right, the material that we have posted will last long, and nobody will tear it down. When our hearts are pure, people are willing to read our truth-clarifying literature." Our Teacher said in Zhuan Falun, "As a person with genuine gong and energy, you do not need to give it off intentionally; you will leave energy on whatever you touch, and it will all be shining brightly." When we distribute the truth-clarifying literature with a pure and benevolent heart for the purpose of eliminating evil and rectifying the Fa, instead of with fear and for the sake of the attachments of accomplishing tasks (including that caused by the purpose of doubling efforts to make amends) or self-protection, we will genuinely have the effect of rectifying the Fa. We should always send forth righteous thoughts "The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated."

2. The tendency to become pessimistic and disappointed

When some fellow practitioners who have not stepped forward before saw other practitioners doing a lot of things for the Fa-rectification, they felt by contrast that they had done poorly, and became pessimistic and disappointed. As time passed, they gave up studying the Fa and practicing the exercise, and simply treated themselves as everyday people. My fellow practitioners: Don't be confused! Haven't you accepted the interference and indulged evil by doing so? Have you regarded yourselves as practitioners? Aren't you unworthy of our compassionate and venerable Teacher' s painstaking salvation? Our Teacher has postponed the time for consummation, and the fellow practitioners held in detention centers and labor camps have been enduring severe hardships. Aren't they still waiting for those who haven't stepped forward to step forward?

"Get rid of any attachment you might have, and don't think about [such] things. Just do everything a Dafa disciple should do, and everything will be covered. "("Lecture on the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Conference")

"I also want to tell you that your nature in the past was actually based on egotism and selfishness. From now on, whatever you do, you should consider others first, so as to attain the righteous Enlightenment of selflessness and altruism. So from now on, whatever you do or whatever you say, you must consider others -- or even future generations -- along with Dafa's eternal stability." ("Non-Omission in Buddha-Nature")

3. The tendency to slack off

Some fellow practitioners think that they have stepped forward long ago, and have done things for the Fa-rectification, so everything should be satisfactory. They study the Fa very little every day, and practice the exercises irregularly. They are not active in doing things for the Fa-rectification.

"Actually, there are a few practitioners who have always been reluctant to do things that are for eliminating the evil and clarifying the truth--as if that would be doing something for Master, or as if that would be putting in extra for Dafa. As soon as you heard me say that you had reached the standard for Consummation, you felt like a big burden had been lifted, you slacked off, and didn't want to do anything anymore, instead of taking what Master told you--something so sacred--to be motivation for becoming more diligent. If you are still unclear about what Fa-rectification disciples are, you won't be able to step forward in the current tribulation, and you will be led by the human world's pursuit of comfort to "enlighten" along an evil path. " ("Fa-Rectification Period Dafa Disciples")

4. The tendency to complain and be suspicious

Recently, some Dafa practitioners were arrested. The vile officials from the Local 610 Office and the police departments spread rumors among the practitioners. They claimed that some people had reported other practitioners. A few practitioners could not understand this issue from the Fa's perspective, and became suspicious. They didn't look inside of themselves, and so affected the internal unity among practitioners and hindered the Fa-rectification.

We must put the Fa study in the first place. No matter how busy we are, we cannot ignore studying the Fa. "The only way to prevent the old, evil forces from taking advantage of the gaps in your mind is to make good use of your time to study the Fa." ("Towards Consummation") We must bear the Teacher's words firmly in mind. We should not only keep studying Zhuan Falun every day, but also study the Teacher's articles frequently. We must use the Fa to measure everything, and melt every word, deed, and thought into the Fa. We should actively step forward to rectify the Fa. During the process of clarifying the truth, exposing the evil and offering salvation to the people of the world, we'll correct ourselves, be compassionate to all sentient beings and keep up with the Fa-rectification process.
