By a Russian Dafa practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) What Master says is the Fa. Only enlightenment achieved from within the Fa is righteous enlightenment. Only after one's everyday person notions are removed and the mind always maintains a god-like (enlightened being) state in thinking, can powerful righteous thoughts be produced. Only with the divine state of being able to control all of one's speech and behavior, can righteous conducts be achieved.

When I first started cultivation, I came to understand at my level of that time: Because human morality has decayed so much and has become unacceptable and Master is benevolent to human beings, he comes down to offer salvation to us. Therefore, my cultivation at that time was only limited to individual cultivation. Afterwards, from "This characteristic, Zhen-Shan-Ren, is the criterion for measuring good and bad in the universe" (Zhuan Falun), I understood: The whole universe (matter of all dimensions, including the human dimension) has deviated from the Fa, therefore it becomes necessary to rectify the Fa. With further studying of the Fa, my understanding was further elevated. I was enlightened that the most important mission of Dafa practitioners in the current period is to assist Master in Fa-rectification with righteous enlightenment, righteous thoughts, and righteous conduct.

"... The crux of Fa-rectification is clarifying the truth. No matter what kind of environment one is in, each and every Dafa disciple has the responsibility to clarify the truth to the circle of people around him or her" (from Clearwisdom Editorial dated October 31, 2001). When one is enlightened to a principle from the Fa, one should apply it. Only after one has applied it can it be said that one is truly in cultivation.
