Thailand Photo Report: Hongfa on Loy Kra Thong Day (October 31, 2001) at Benjasiri Park, Bangkok


According to Thai custom, every full moon of the 12th month (Thai calendar) Thailand celebrates the festival of Loy Kra Thong. This year, Loy Kra Thong day falls on October 31, 2001. We went to hongfa in Benjasiri Park during the holiday celebration. Some practitioners demonstrated Dafa exercises to spectators while others distributed fliers. Many people were interested in learning Dafa exercises. We distributed all 900 fliers we brought in two and half hours. There were many tourists from all over the world in the park, and Dafa brought a serene atmosphere to them. One German lady had heard about Falun Gong in Germany, and was interested in practicing with us. Some Chinese people were interested in Dafa as well.
