Member of Parliament Rob Anders' statement was read at the press conference. Mr. Anders states that this is the first time in history that a court has issued an order to stop distributing distorted and slanderous reports against Falun Gong. He sent his congratulations to Canadian Falun Gong practitioners. He said the practitioner's efforts to stop stirring up the hatred towards Falun Gong is beneficial for an even better Canada and emphasized that this first victory has told the world that Canada will not tolerate any action against Canadian law.

Some local press, such as Southam News, CBC, CTV, CFMT radio came and covered the event.
