I obtained Dafa in 1996. Since July 20, 1999, I did many things to safeguard the Fa and considered myself to be a true practitioner. However, I had not always cultivated myself from the perspective of the Fa. I betrayed the Law of the universe at a crucial moment. It was Master's articles that awakened me and fellow practitioners' sharing-experience articles that opened my eyes. In the end, I dug out my problems at the roots and came back to Fa-rectification cultivation again.

One hundred and eighty eight people solemnly declared that all they have previously written and said under brutal and tremendous coercion are completely void. They will determinedly cultivate and double their efforts in making up for the loss they caused to Dafa. They will clarify the truth to people and become genuine Dafa disciples.

Here is an example of the crimes committed by the persecutors in trying to brainwash the practitioners at the Heizuizi Female Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City. Practitioner Zhou Guirong in group No. 6 was force-fed and often tortured with electric batons by the guards. She was skin and bones as a result of the torture, and she could not speak for months. She barely recovered before another round of torture: the perpetrators put her on the "Dead Person's Bed" or "Big Letter Board" (reference available at: http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2001/11/24/16156.html). Her limbs were tightly cuffed, her lower back was fixed, and a feeding tube was forced through her nostril. The persecutors did not allow her to have any quilts or blankets. (During the winter, Changchun City is very cold.)

On January 11, 2001, Zhang Sufang, after being tortured by policewoman Yan Liping for practicing Falun Gong, was hung up with both hands cuffed and both feet off the ground. After five days, her face turned pale and she experienced severe cramps. During the six-month's detention in Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp, Zhang, this Party District Secretary of Qingfeng Village, Changshougelan Town in Chonqing area, was tortured brutally. As a result, she became disoriented and suffered from urinary incontinence. She died three days after being released.
