Female Dafa Practitioner Wang Xiujuan Died After Receiving a Brutal Beating

(Clearwisdom.net) Female Dafa practitioner Wang Xiujuan was a farmer in Masong Village, Weifang City, Shandong Province. In order to safeguard the universal Fa, expose the evil, and save the people that are deceived by the lies fabricated by Jiang's group, Ms. Wang went to Beijing to appeal twice in the Summer of 2000. As a result, she was illegally detained by the Changle County Police Department for two months. After her release from the police department, she was transferred to the town government for further detention. Because of her rock-solid determination in cultivating Dafa, she was beaten to death on January 21, 2001, at the age of 36.

In late 2000, the Masong town government set up a jail to illegally detain local villagers who practice Falun Dafa. These practitioners were detained for over 5 months and Wang Xiujuan was one of them.

Before the 2001 Chinese New Year, the detained Dafa practitioners requested they be released unconditionally to go home and reunite with family members. In order to collect money, the town government announced that whoever turned in 20,000 Yuan [Note: 500 Yuan is the average monthly wage and it is less in rural China] would be released; otherwise, one would be still detained. Where could a poor farmer's family find such a huge amount of money? Unable to pay the money, Wang was kept in the jail until she was beaten to death.

During the illegal detention, practitioners were subjected to various tortures. Local thugs led by Zhao Shijun (the secretary of the political and legal committee), used twisted wire whips to whip practitioners [These cause severe damage to a person's skin and can take the skin right off]. Later, they even prohibited family members from sending food to practitioners. They attempted to break practitioners' belief using violence, starvation and exposure to the cold. However, despite the brutality, none of the practitioners fought back or talked back; nor did they yield to their persecutors.

On the afternoon of January 21, 2001, Zhao Shijun and his accomplice Gao Yongrui started beating Wang Xiujuan who had not eaten anything for 4-5 days. At about 3 or 4 p.m., they beat Wang to death. In order to shirk the responsibility, they secretly (without informing Wang's family) sent Wang's corpse to the Crematory where they refrigerated the body for 6 days before they finally cremated it.

Several days after Wang's death, Sun Lanxin, the party secretary, was moved to another position.

The murderers will pay for their crimes. Those who murdered Wang Xiujuan and those who were accomplices to the murder cannot escape their eventual punishment.
