Police Driver Dies on His Way to Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioners in Guanfang Township, Lunan County, Shandong Province

Pan Qingwu works as a driver for the Guanfang Township Police Department. He has been an accomplice in the police beating and torturing and the ransacking of the homes of Falun Dafa practitioners. In addition he often said things that defamed Falun Dafa.

The policemen and the driver have committed many wrongdoings. On December 23, 1999, while Pan and another four policemen were on their way to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners, their car collided with another vehicle that was coming from the opposite direction. Pan died instantly, one policeman suffered seven fractures, and another policeman lost one of his toes. The other two policemen were also injured. Nobody can escape the heavenly principle that good will be rewarded with good and evil will be met with evil.

Below is an example of the local policemen's crimes against Falun Dafa practitioners:

A practitioner was held in the local police station where he had been sent after he was arrested in Beijing for peacefully appealing for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. After the practitioner had been sent to his local police station, Pan Qingwu and some other policemen strung this practitioner up from the roof beam. They then beat him and tortured him to try and force him to stop his practice of Falun Dafa and to make him write a "guarantee statement" (to show that one has given up one's practice of Falun Gong). As the practitioner refused, Pan and the policemen decided to turn their attention to his family members. They forcibly brought the practitioner's elder sister and younger sister to the police station. When they arrived at the station, the police strung the young sister from the roof beam, and the police then forced her older sister to watch her being beaten, yelled at, and insulted. They were also forced to pay a fine for no reason. Since they did not have any money, the perpetrators also strung their father from the roof beam in order to make them pay.
