(Clearwisdom.net) A fellow practitioner in Chaoyang City wrote an article for Clearwisdom.net describing the torture cases and the various forms of persecution being used in the Wujiapuzi Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province. As far as I know, the following examples are based on facts.

Facing persecution, Dafa practitioner Li Hengliang was determined and unyielding. Police Captain, Jiang Yongfeng forced him to squat for a long time and did not allow him to sleep. When Li could no longer hold this position, Jiang would strike him with an electric baton. The torture lasted for 30 minutes causing Li to fall to the ground in convulsions.

Dafa practitioner, Zhao Yunshan, was handcuffed and hung up for six days and nights (his hands were raised above his head by handcuffs). As a result, his two legs were so swollen that they matched his waist in size.

Practitioner Cui Yuqing has a disabled leg. He lives in Xinbin City and is firm and steadfast in the face of the persecution. Police Captain Jiang Yongfeng ordered a policeman to torture Cui. After 3 to 4 hours of torture, Cui collapsed on the floor. The policeman then grabbed his hand and forced him to sign a document (to denounce Dafa). With small amount of strength that he had left, Cui resisted and smashed several pens.

Around Chinese New Year in 2001, the police abducted 270 practitioners and sent them to this forced labor camp. Among them, Yao Songdong was a graduate student at the Petroleum Institute; Yuan Peng was a peasant from Jiahe Township. Police Officer Jiang Yongfeng planned and carried out the brutal torture. As a result, Yao became mentally disoriented due to the extreme trauma he received. In order to cover up their crime, the wicked police claimed that Yao went crazy because of his Falun Gong practice. A school administrator from Yao's school said that one of Yao's research projects was near completion. Who destroyed his life?

Practitioner Li Changchun from Xinbin City was unshaken under the most severe torture and even when facing death. Practitioner Zhao Lianbin from Qingyuan was tortured around the clock for several days.

During the persecution, the Wujiapuzi Forced Labor Camp detained about 1,600 practitioners at different times. Among them there were seniors as old as over 80 years and teenagers. For most people, the "crime" was so-called "disturbing social order" which is unsubstantiated and arbitrary. Practitioners were only allowed to meet their family members once a month. Once I saw a 3 to 4 year-old child crying outside of the prison gate: "Mommy! I want my mommy!" Who created such a tragedy?

I would like to appeal to all compassionate people to offer their support to end this evil persecution and to help release all the Dafa practitioners from detention.
