People's Hearts Cannot Be Deceived

There is a Nine-Nine Great China shopping center in San Diego, California, where many local Chinese people do their shopping. It is also a place for us to spread the Fa and clarify the truth. When I went there over the weekend, one of the people I met was an elderly man from Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province in China, who came to visit his family in California. He spoke with a heavy hometown accent. When he saw our poster with the heading "SOS! Urgently Rescue the Falun Gong practitioners being Persecuted in China," he stood there and read it. When we asked him whether he knew about the fact that Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted in China, he said that he knew about it. He said that before leaving China he had to prove that he was not a Falun Gong practitioner, otherwise his travel permit would not have been processed. He had a few stamps of approval from his working unit but that was not good enough. He had to obtain stamps from different police stations before he could obtain the passport. He angrily said that if practicing Falun Gong is so bad, then why not let those people leave the country? Also, if Falun Gong is really so bad, then how come there are so many people practicing it and not willing to stop?

From what I know, police stations in many regions of China force people who want to travel abroad for study to write a statement announcing that they do not practice Falun Gong and that they will not practice abroad. Otherwise their travel documents and passport will not be issued.

There is a saying that people's hearts cannot be deceived. If everyone knows about the kind of unimaginable hardship endured by Falun Gong practitioners, how much longer can the evil continue its reign of terror?
