Houston Falun Gong Practitioners Hold A Press Conference In Front of Chinese Consulate to Clarify the Truth of the Self-Immolation

At 2:30pm on February 11, Houston Falun Gong practitioners held a news conference in front of the Chinese consulate to clarify the truth of the self-immolation incident. They hung up many banners written in Chinese and English, reding "Falun Dafa---Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance", "China: Stop Persecuting Falun Gong", and "We urgently request a thorough investigation into the truth about the Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident". Practitioners also carried all kind of pictures. Houston TV channels 26 and 39 and the Houston Chronicle were among the conference's attendants. They took down the words on the banners and then interviewed some practitioners. Practitioners gave the reporters materials that clarify the truth of the self-immolation incident. Practitioners also answered their questions. Dozens of practitioners demonstrated the five sets of excises for them, and also stressed that practitioners should always conduct themselves according to the principles of Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance and we are against any form of killing.
