We realize that: it was wrong to go against the principles of Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance; we have negatively affected our xinxing (translator's note: inner quality); and despite the fact that we were experiencing violent torture and brainwashing by the police, we have brought a negative impact on Falun Dafa and Master Li. Our wrong behavior unintentionally helped the devils in China with their bloody persecution of Falun Dafa and its practitioners. Now we are completely awakened and feel extremely regretful.

We are ashamed to face Master who has given up everything for us. We are ashamed to face tens of thousands of other practitioners who are in jails, labor camps, and other institutions and who have committed no crimes. We are even more ashamed to face those who are deprived of their homes and are wandering about because they have appealed for us.

What we did in the past was wrong. We went astray from the Great Law of the cosmos. In our remorse, we now realize how our attachments were seized by the devil to damage Dafa. We are unworthy of the great benevolence of Master. Here, we solemnly declare to the whole world, through Minghui Net: All of the articles and speeches against Falun Dafa that we made after a long period of physical and mental torture are invalid. What we said in the interviews with the journalists of Xin Jiang Daily and China Daily of Xinhua News Agency is invalid. The tape recordings and video recording made by various TV stations are invalid.

We will use our whole lives to make up the loss and to remedy the damage caused to Dafa. We will use our lives to help Master Li guard the Great Law of the cosmos in this world and to be a qualified disciples. We will never let Master Li down and will live up to his benevolent salvation.

The Vicious Deeds in Changji Labor Education Institution

Changji Labor Education Institution is the only one of its kind in Xin Jiang Province to have concentrated male Falun Dafa practitioners for an enforced transformation through labor work. Practitioners here have undergone unprecedented tests and inhumane torture.

Since practitioners have been taken to Changji Labor Education Institution in December of 1999, several of them have been brutally beaten with homemade batons. One practitioner was stripped of his clothes and locked in an office. They tortured him with super high-pressure electrified batons. They also beat people with a specifically made instrument for electronic shocking, which was the size of a square brick. When this instrument is used, it can cause the skin and flesh to explode and blood to squirt out. In order to transform practitioners, they used this vicious instrument on several practitioners, which made their bodies drip with blood. All this just because practitioners wanted to be good people. They wanted to tell the truth and insisted on practicing their beliefs.

Most of the practitioners kept there were young. Their average age was under 30. But there was also an elderly practitioner of 62. He, too, received the inhumane treatment. He was forced to take part in an intensified military training, and given extra labor. At the beginning, they didn't even allow him to sleep. They sent people to watch him closely. Whenever he started dozing off, someone would push him into the corridor and force him to run back and forth. That went on for seven or eight days and the old practitioner never got any sleep. Later they allowed him to sleep for 4 hours a day and work for 16 hours. Because of his lack of sleep, he would sometimes start dozing while he was working, and then he would be beaten in the face. Now the old practitioner is so seriously injured that he can't get out of bed.

This is only the tip of the iceberg. Because information about the persecution of practitioners is highly restricted, the heinous deeds being committed there are hard to reveal. Practitioners have been on a group fast for many days to stop the evil.

The current situation of Dafa Practitioners is perilous. Since they have declared invalid everything that they wrote against Dafa and have returned to the path of practicing Falun Gong, the police have devised more severe punishments for them. So far two of the practitioners, Zhao Aijun and Chui Guilin, have been transferred to prison. Here we bring the attention of practitioners' families to the persecution. Please go to the labor education institution to ask for your relative's release. We also bring this place to the attention of all the kind-hearted people. Please appeal to world organizations and communities to condemn the evil deeds of those who are persecuting practitioners under unwarranted charges.

Storming into a Practitioner's Home to Take Photographs

A practitioner in Xin Jiang Province was harassed many times by personnel from the local police station and administration office of her community during the time preceding the Chinese Lunar New Year . They went to her home almost everyday, an obvious disturbance to her everyday life, and threatened to take her picture. They had been ordered by a higher authority to submit her picture. When they were repeatedly refused permission by the practitioner, they begged her. Again she blankly refused them. Finally, in broad daylight, they broke into her house and took her picture by force. This is another vivid picture of "the golden period of human rights in China".
