Please Express Your Concerns To the Yangqiao Police Substation of the Beijing Fengtai District

Recently there have been a large number of Falun Dafa practitioners who got arrested because they unfurled banners and shouted slogans in Tiananmen Square. The police registered the practitioners' names and addresses and sent them to local labor camps.

I was arrested together with other disciples. Because the jail was already full of Dafa practitioners, we were separately imprisoned in several smaller Police Substations. We showed no fear to the brutality and recited Dafa teachings together loudly inside the cells demanding to be released. The guards cursed us loudly. Some practitioners were individually interrogated in the evening. The police forced practitioners to tell their names, addresses, and to disparage Master Li. They lashed the practitioners' faces using hard soled shoes; some practitioners' faces were beaten until swollen. Some policemen also used clubs to hit practitioners' lower bodies, hands, legs, and heads.

Similar kinds of persecution against practitioners take place in other police substations in Beijing everyday. This particular substation is the Yangqiao Police Substation in the Beijing Fengtai District one of the offending police officers there is Jing Xiaoming.

Greetings!

Since July 22, 1999, the Chinese government has publicly attacked and persecuted Falun Gong. Now I disclose some facts about their brutal persecution against Falun Gong practitioners and their reckless violation of human rights.

Jan. 4, 2001, another practitioner and I spread out Falun Dafa Brief Introduction in front of Tiananmen Square, hoping to let more people understand Falun Dafa. Immediately, several policemen rushed at us, beat and kicked us, and then pushed us into a police van and drove us away quickly. Inside the police van, they beat Falun Gong practitioners and cursed our Teacher. When we dissuaded them, they responded to us with fists.

We were taken to Beijing Qianmen Police Station first where they collected information from us using words, fists, feet, and police weapons. They then sent about 36 practitioners to Beijing Fengtai Police Substation where they separated us among substations under the jurisdiction of several districts. I was sent, with nine others, to Fengtai Yangqiao Police Substation.

We were imprisoned in a cement cell without glass on the window. There was no heating and on that day the temperature in Beijing was around 1017 C below zero with a cold wind. The temperatures inside and outside the house were almost the same.

During my detention, I saw police beat practitioners and distort answers, forcibly obtaining fingerprints and signatures. When we recited "Lunyu" [statement of comments and preface in Zhuan Falun], they confined us to restrooms without washing equipment. We protested with a hunger strike but they continued their activities.

When I left the Fengtai Yangqiao Police Substation, these kinds of human rights violations continued.

I hope this article reaches people with integrity and compassion around the world. I hope all human rights organizations around the world will pay close attention to this matter.
