Dafa Practitioners from China

[Minghui Net] Dafa Practitioner Liu Xiaoling, female, 37 years old, was from Wuchang Town, Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province. On the eve of the Chinese Spring Festival of 2000, she was arrested while doing the Falun Gong exercises outside with her fellow practitioners, and unlawfully detained for more than 18 months. During her detention in the Zhaodong City Detention Center, she went on a hunger strike to protest the police's persecution against her. During her recent hunger strike, the police brutally mistreated her. On May 13 or 14, the police forcibly gave her an injection. After she pulled out the syringe needle, the police force-fed her, which caused her death from complications resulting from the forced feeding. It is said that because of the beatings she received, her ribs were fractured, causing them to puncture her lungs; this was identified by a legal medical expert. However, the police claimed that she caused the injury to herself. At the beginning, the police tried to block the information, but now it can no longer be kept a secret. The detailed information is under further investigation. The police are now closely monitoring her family.
