The director of a police station was upright and outspoken, and his nature was honest. Because there were many practitioners appealing from the area under his administration, he was dismissed. One day, a practitioner met him and expressed his sorrow for the loss of his job. He said: "I do not blame you. The top authorities make use of innocent people to propagate their own ideas. You know that enterprises like our factories are very dark, but you do not know that our public security system is much darker. Unlike others, I did not try all means to bribe my boss or set up all kinds of relationships for future promotions in my job. Instead, my main focus was on improving the welfare of our policemen. In addition, I often refused to obey orders from the higher authorities that asked me to release certain criminal suspects. How could these people, who have earned the bitter hatred of society, be causally released? Therefore, due to these actions, I was certain to offend people at the top. So they just used this as an excuse. In fact, I had already frowned upon their activities, and had wanted to retire for a long time. You are all good people. Later on when the Fa [law and principles] is rectified, I must invite you for dinner!"

"Let me help you."

Around midnight, two practitioners threw a five to six meter-long column banner over a utility wire across the street from the city government. However, after they finished, they found the banner was slanting. They felt very uncomfortable, so they decided to take it down, and hang it again. However, because the cable was very high off the ground (around 10 meters), they could not reach it after trying for a while. At that time, a fat and robust man passed by their place, and coming over, he said in low voice: "You are Falun Gong practitioners, right? You are hanging the banner, right? Let me help you." Then he and the two practitioners worked together. As they worked, they chatted. This man said he had been a Falun Gong practitioner before the crackdown, but now he just practices secretly, and does not step out. Since the banner was too high to take down, this man patted his shoulders and said to one practitioner: "Come here. Step on my shoulders to reach it!" The practitioner stepped on his shoulders and used a pole to reach the banner at last. They carefully hung the banner again, then the man silently left.

"Where can we learn Falun Gong right now?"

A female practitioner was handing out literature that clarified the truth about Falun Gong at a village. When she had just finished inserting a copy at one house, the door of another house nearby opened. Two men came out and said to her, "Come, come, come here!" The female practitioner calmly went over and gave each of them a copy. After reading the pamphlets, the two men asked her: "Where can we learn Falun Gong right now?" She answered: "Soon! As long as you have a true heart to learn, you will be able to learn it some day in the future!"

A practitioner went to buy a cell phone. When he bought it, he chatted with the shopkeeper. He said he was a Falun Gong practitioner. The shopkeeper lit up with pleasure when he heard this and said: "You are a Falun Gong practitioner! I am most willing to meet with them, and I feel so peaceful around you. You are very great. When you come here next time, could you bring one of your books so that I could have a look? I hear that your teacher has written many books. Please bring an introductory one for me to read first. Cleaning out misunderstandings

A practitioner was talking about current affairs with several young men on a train. After a little while, these young men began to talk about Falun Gong. However, when this practitioner heard them, he knew that they had been deceived by the lies shown on television. Therefore, he patiently analyzed the misleading, fabricated stories, and exposed the injustice of all the reports on Falun Gong reported by the Central TV Station, pointing out that the government was actually using illegal methods when dealing with the Falun Gong issue. After hearing this, these young people immediately saw the light and expressed their sympathy for Falun Gong at once. Accordingly, this practitioner thoroughly introduced them to the truth about Falun Gong. Eventually, he completely eliminated the prejudices of these young people toward Falun Gong.
