My Aunt's True Story

A Falun Dafa practitioner in Mainland China

My aunt retired many years ago. She used to have very poor health and a heart problem. In August 1998, however, after she started to practice Falun Gong, my aunt quickly regained her health. However, after July 1999, due to the damage from evil people, the TV and newspapers began to slander Falun Dafa and its founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi. Because of this, my aunt became very frightened and began to waver in her determination. Besides, her family members also started to oppose Falun Gong. My aunt started to practice another type of Qigong as a result.

Since she stopped practicing Falun Gong, my aunt's health began to deteriorate. In August 2000, my aunt was diagnosed with lung cancer. She went to the hospital and had an operation to remove the tumor. The doctor told my cousin, "If she had not stopped practicing Falun Gong, it would not have been possible for her to get cancer." My cousin is a government official and a public servant. Moreover, he had been confused and deceived by the rumors from the state-owned media and had become very disgusted with Falun Gong. He was the person who had opposed my aunt's practice of Falun Gong the most.

After my aunt returned home from the hospital, she decided to start practicing Falun Gong again. After she resumed the practice, her wound recovered very quickly, which greatly surprised the doctor. It is Master Li's great compassion that has saved my aunt. It is Falun Dafa that has given her a second life! Now my aunt's health is very good and her blood tests are even better than those of ordinary people. The doctors even say this is a miracle!

Now, my aunt's whole family greatly supports her Falun Gong practice. My cousin told my aunt, "Mom, you should continue practicing Falun Gong in the future even if you are labeled anti-government." My aunt has become very active and she goes out to promote Falun Dafa and clarify the truth whenever she has time.
