[China] The Evil must be Completely Eliminated, be Cautious of the Vicious Forces' New Scheme

Tianmen City police in Hubei Province armed with guns have began to arrest Falun Gong practitioners. We urge Falun Gong practitioners to please resist with determined righteous thoughts and to expose and eliminate the vicious forces.

According to reliable sources, in order to detain and persecute Dafa practitioners, Jiang Zemin's criminal regime is planning the construction of a new detention center near Chaoyanggou Detention Center in Changchun City, Jilin Province.

On May 18, Minghui Net reported that the police in Shandong Province convened a secret meeting in Weifang City's Fuhua Amusement Park Hotel. The topic of the meeting was the beginning of another round of persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. Under the guise of searching for "concealed weapons," they plan to detain Dafa practitioners and ransack their homes while actually searching for Dafa materials and Dafa truth-clarifying literature. On May 24, the vicious forces in Weifang City began to carry out their sinful mission.

On the afternoon on May 24, all authorities from the administration office, local police station and residential committee of Tuanjiehu area in Beijing called an emergency meeting. Following to an urgent order from Beijing, they raided the homes and detained Dafa practitioners again in the area. Without legal documentation or any warrants, the responsible persons from the "6.10" Office [an office founded on June 10 to persecute Falun Gong practitioners] detained and attempted to "reform" Falun Gong practitioners on a large scale. They claimed they had to carry out and take this action according to a collective order from Beijing and seven other provinces. Every level of the government is required to resolutely carry out this order and meet a certain quota of arresting practitioners.

According to practitioner's observations, there are demons in multiple dimensions who convened to scheme upon a new strategy. The head demons of different battle zones command all fiends to join together in the fight. These dark schemes will be carried out in different dimensions at the same time.

There will be some big events respectively reflected on our Earth. It is just to see how our Dafa practitioners assist Teacher in the Fa-rectification process and how everyday people treat those events with their righteous thoughts. Moreover, at this critical moment our main consciousness must be very strong.

[China] "Suffocate the Evil"

One night, two senior Dafa practitioners from a city were putting up a Dafa banner when a police car stopped them. The police ordered them, "Get in the car." The practitioners replied, "We are just taking a walk." The police forcibly searched them and found a Dafa banner. They asked, "Where did you get it?" The police unfurled the banner, which read, "Suffocate the evil." The police looked at each other and did not know what to do while the practitioners left in a dignified manner.

[Chengdu City, Sichun Province] Practitioners in their Seventies Arrested While Clarifying the Truth

On the evening of May 16, Chengdu City Dafa practitioner Jiang Zhenmei (female, 74 years old) and Zheng Miaojun (70 years old) were taken away when they clarified the truth to the public. The relatives of Jiang asked the vicious forces to release her, but their requests were rejected. Now the two practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.

[China] Accusation from a Relative of a Dafa Practitioner

I am a relative of a Dafa practitioner. At about 10pm on May 21, the person in charge of our county broke into my home and forced me to tell him where my wife and child were. Unless I did so, he threatened he would take me to the "reform" class [a class established to brainwash practitioners to give up their belief in Falun Dafa and accept Jiang Zemin's ideology]. My child was sick and needed a parent to take care of him. At the time, the vicious officials tried to forcibly send my wife to the "reform" class. Under this situation, my wife had to take my son and leave home. Since they could not find my wife, the vicious officials illegally took me in the car and ordered me to bring them to the place where they could find my wife.

On the way to the "reform" class, the vicious officials threatened me in all kinds of ways. They told me if I would not help them to "reform" my wife, they would trump up charges and convict us of all kinds of crimes. They told me they could arbitrarily use any means without worry of being sued. At the "reform" classes in a suburb of Beijing, the vicious officials asked me to cooperate in obtaining the surrender of my wife, otherwise, I would be forced to attend the class. I was very calm during this whole time but also realized they wanted to take me hostage. They would not release me until they found my wife, they said. Since I did not want to attend the class or cooperate with the vicious people, I told them that I would find my wife. They instructed me to bring my wife to the "reform" class the next day. This way, I was sent back home at about 12am in the morning. In order not to be manipulated by the vicious people, I left home as well and lived out in the open. Since then I have not been able to go back to my home. My family is now torn apart. A 70-year-old grandparent was left at home without any care. Those vicious people terribly hurt everyone in my family.

[China] Story from Jail: "Peace Pigeon"

Everyone had a nickname in the No.7 cell in a detention center; "Peace pigeon" is practitioner Xiaozhao's nickname.

Xiaozhao was detained due after appealing in Beijing and was put into a detention center for 6 months. During his detention period he was transferred to several different cells. Wherever he was transferred to, the situation in the cell would greatly improve. There were several felons detained in the No.7 cell. They always argued and fought over some minor things, which annoyed the guards a lot. Since Xiaozhao was transferred to No. 7, the order and the environment in the cell gradually changed. Every morning, Xiaozhao was the first to get up. He swept the floor, cleaned the toilet and brought the meals back to the cell. He did not talk back when cursed, never fought back when beaten. He always bought some daily necessities for roommates who couldn't afford them. He voluntarily helped others write appeal statements and affirmations. Xiaozhao touched their hearts with his behavior. He also told them the principles that human beings should follow and adhere to. Whenever there were conflicts between them, they would find Xiaozhao to become the judge over right and wrong. Sometimes they simply told themselves to be "tolerant." This way big conflicts were diffused into a smaller ones and small ones would disappear. The cell became more harmonious. Therefore they gave Xiaozhao the nickname "peace pigeon." However, they were always puzzled and asked Xiaozhao, "Why would the government detain people like you?"

Now in the No.7 cell another two cellmates have obtained the Fa. They study and practice every day. They have also taken the initiative to introduce the truth of Falun Gong to newcomers. They have advanced in their journey on their way back to their true home.

[China] A Story about a Young "Everyday Person"

One day I went to my colleague's home and heard a story. Her 5-year-old Xiaoping had been playing outside and saw a friend tearing a small banner. He recognized two characters on the banner reading, "Dafa." He did not know the meaning of the other words. He thought it must be something about Falun Gong. Then he told his friend not to tear the banner up. The friend asked for the reason and said some bad words. Xiaoping told him Falun Gong is good and tried to stop him. Then the two kids fought with each other. Xiaoping had never fought with others before. But that day he grabbed the little banner in his hand and hung it up on the wall in the apartment building at home. He told his mother the whole story and asked her to tell him how to pronounce the characters on the banner. And later he asked his mother to put up the small banner at home.

[Nanjiang County, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioners Sentenced for Appealing in Beijing

Nanjiang County is in the Dabie Mountain area on the border between Sichuan and Shanxi Province. As it is a remote area, most practitioners there began to cultivate after 1997.

In October 2000, since they found out Falun Dafa was being slandered, they decided to appeal in Beijing. Most of them were kind villagers and retired seniors who had never traveled out of their area. Fourteen people were forcibly sent back and detained in the local area. Among them, Huang Jun, Zhang Lihua, Wu Shunling, Song Yongfa, Zhang Yuan, Xu Erxing, Bao Shukai, and Xiong Huhua were sentenced to 15 days in a detention center. On February 8, 2001, six other practitioners were accused of "interfering with law enforcement using XX [Chinese Government slandered words omitted]." Those other six are:

Pan Pu, male, 31 years old, farmer, lived in Nanjiang County Lianchi Village No. 1 Unit. He was sentenced to three and a half years imprisonment due to safeguarding Dafa in Beijing in December 1999 and October 2000.

Pan Zhengguang, male, 34 years old, was sentenced to three years imprisonment as he safeguarded Dafa in Beijing in December 1999.

Yue Junshong, male, 70 years old, retired worker, lived in No. 160 Dongyuan Street, Changdong Village, Nanjiang County. He was sentenced to three years imprisonment as he went to appeal in Beijing and wrote letters to relevant work units to clarify the truth of Dafa. The term was suspended for three years.

Yue Zhilan, female, 59 years old, farmer. She was sentenced to three years imprisonment due to appealing in Beijing in October 2000. The term was suspended for three years.

Chen Beifang, female, 61 years old, retired worker. In October 2000, she went to appeal in Beijing and she escaped criminal punishment.

Deng Zongcheng, male, 54 years old, lived in No. 3 Unit, Jiangqi Village, Fenhe Town, Nanjiang County. In October 2000, he went to appeal in Beijing and he escaped criminal punishment.

[Beijing] The Persecution of Dafa Practitioners from Beijing City Construction Design Institute

There were six Dafa practitioners in Beijing City's Construction Design Institute. They were all considered to be "backbones" [or responsible] and good people in their work units, but were persecuted to different extents.

He Duanlian, female, graduated from Tsinghua University, engineer. She was sentenced to a 1-year imprisonment and fired by the institute.

Zhang Jing, female, worker, was fired by her institute and sentenced to a 1-year imprisonment.

Wang Hui, female, advanced engineer, was fired and lost her Party membership as she resisted being "reformed" by the government. She is now on the street as a homeless person.

Ran Yuexia, female, senior engineer, was fired. She became homeless because she resisted being "reformed."

Xie Jishun, male, worker, was fired and lost his party membership. He became homeless as he resisted being "reformed."

Xin Hong, female, senior engineer, Master's degree from Tsinghua University. She was fired.

These six Dafa practitioners were fired by the Beijing Construction Design Institute under high pressure from upper-level government authorities around Chinese New Year's Day of 2001. After the Spring Festival, the key person who persecuted Dafa practitioners, the Chairman and Secretary Li Xiaoping, Beijing People's Delegate, was expelled from his party membership as well as his job as he was found to have deficiencies. Only a vicious person is one who persecutes kindness. It is the cosmic principle that evil begets evil.

[Wulabo Labor Farm, Xinjiang Province] Dafa Practitioners Brutally Beaten Up at the Wulabo Labor Farm

Wulabo Labor Farm forcibly "reforms" Dafa practitioners using brutal means. Several policemen, led by Ba Xiaomei, shocked practitioner Sun Shoulan, from Kuitun, with electric batons. The bridge of her nose was broken from the beatings and her legs were covered with wounds. In spite of her terrible physical condition, the police kept up the punishment by forcing her to stand still for two days. When she was eventually sent to the hospital, the police threatened her and forced her to say that she had injured herself.

[Tanghai County, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioner Zhao Tongluo Tricked into a Labor Camp

In the morning on May 29, 2001, more than five officials from the County Politics and Law Committee, the police department and the police station lured Dafa practitioner Zhao Tongluo into the police car using the excuse of "learning more about his situation." They did not show any summons, warrant or notice for a labor camp. Zhao Tongluo disappeared after being taken into the police car. His family members did not receive any notification or information. Only after they went to the police station in the evening and questioned his whereabouts were they told that Zhao Tonglu had been sent to a labor camp. This was actually a kidnapping.

Zhao Tongluo has been arrested twice. He and his wife have been "fined" 13,000 Yuan and their pensions have been suspended and another four practitioners were also being sent to a labor camp with him. Their names are not yet known.

In addition, before the Spring Festival, town officials humiliated more than 10 Falun Dafa practitioners. Here is what happened: Led by the secretary of Baozi Town in Zunhua County, Hebei Province, town officials publicly paraded these practitioners in the streets. At the same time, the officials ordered the police to collect signatures for "anti-XX [Chinese Government slanderous words omitted]" and would detain anyone who refused to sign the slandering statements. This is how Jiang Zemin's criminal regime collected the signatures. It was indeed shameless!

[Anhui Province] Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners in Wuhu City and Hefei City

Yang Jiansheng, the assistant director of the Jinghu District Police Department of Wuhu City has been promoted to the post of vice-director of the department because of his "contribution" in persecuting Falun Gong. He often leads people to search practitioners' homes, arrests and detains practitioners. He has personally issued three warrants to arrest practitioners.

In Hefei City, at the end of April, Hu Xiaoqing, who has been "reformed," brought people to practitioner Xu Xiaoqing's home to arrest her. When they were unable to open her door they went to the factory to look for her husband. In order not to cooperate with the vicious forces, Xu Xiaoqing chose to leave her home and become a homeless person. Once, when she returned home, the police blocked the front and back doors to catch her. Xu sent forth righteous thoughts. The police searched everywhere but could not find her. Later, this practitioner escaped safely.

Dafa practitioner Yang Daixuan had retired from Hefei Electrical Machinery Plant. In late April his work unit sent someone to bring him to his work unit. When he arrived the security personnel of the work unit asked him if he still practiced Falun Gong. He answered, "Yes." The work unit then forced him to write the "guarantee statement," but he refused. He was therefore immediately and forcibly sent to attend "reform class" where the guards put him under 24-hour surveillance. Following that, he was placed in solitary confinement and forcibly brainwashed. He had to pay 30 Yuan every day and could not leave his room.

[Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners in Chengdu City

On May 16, practitioner Tang Hogmei went to visit her sister Tang Ying who is also a Falun Dafa practitioner. The sisters and five other practitioners were about to go out to distribute Dafa materials. Suddenly, illegally and without warning, the police broke in and kidnapped them all. On May 22, somebody saw that the sisters were being brought to Lianhua Village Detention Center in Chengdu City. They have gone on a hunger strike.

On March 1, personnel from the Shuangqiaozi police station kidnapped Dafa practitioner Liu Li. She has been detained in Chengdu First Detention Center for three months for refusing to attend the "reform class." We have since heard that the vicious forces will sentence her.

[Hengshui City, Hebei Province] The Real Situation of Dafa Practitioners being Additonally and Illegally Detained after Their Detention Terms were Arbitrarily Extended

1. Yuan Yungai, a teacher from Fourth Middle School went to appeal, in accordance with the law, on May 28, 2000. She was illegally detained for 30 days. Ten days later, the head of the police station issued a warrant and sent her to the First Detention Center. Now she has been detained for almost one year.
2. In December 2000, Wang Xiuxue, Cui Sufang, Ming Xiulian,Yang Qixing, Xiao, Zangjun, Ma Xinhua and Wang Suokui were illegally detained in the First Detention Center due to putting up posters reading "Falun Gong Is Good." Now they have been detained for almost half a year.
3. On December 25, 2000, Shan Shuhong, Dong Huazhi and Yu Jiazhong were illegally detained in First Detention Center due to being suspected of putting up posters. They have been detained for about half a year.
4. On December 29, 2000, Yang Xiai, was illegally detained in First Detention Center, because she was suspected of putting up Dafa posters in Gaoyang County. She has been detained about half a year.
5. Zhang Wenju has been illegally detained since December 2000 because of putting up Dafa posters.
6. Zhang Yongli, a teacher of Fifth Middle School, was illegally detained in the Northern Detention Center in October 1999 because of appealing for Falun Dafa. On June 11, 2000, she was transferred to the Southern Detention Center. On January 2001, she was again illegally sentenced to labor camp.
7. Liu Shujun, a worker from the Cotton Mill was illegally detained in the Northern Detention Center in October 1999 because of appealing for Falun Dafa. On June 11, 2000, she was transferred to Southern Detention Center. In January 2001, she was illegally sentenced to a labor camp.
8. Qi Xiulian, a worker from the Oil Cotton Mill was illegally detained in the Northern Detention Center in April 1999 because of practicing Falun Gong exercises outside. On June 11, 2000 she was transferred to the Southern Detention Center. On January 2001, she was illegally sentenced to a labor camp.
9. Shan Shufang, director of the factory office of the Shoe Materials Factory was detained in the Northern Detention Center in October 1999 for appealing for Falun Dafa. She was then transferred to the Southern Detention Center for half a year.
10. Cui Sufang, Cai Yongcun, Feng Caili, Shan Shuhong, Ming Xiulian, Yang Xiai, Yang Qixing, Xiao Zangjun, Hou Xiangmei, Xiao Xingai and Wu Lijuan and other practitioners have been detained in the Southern Detention Center for 3 months because they practiced Falun Gong outside on March 5, 2000. Feng Caili had been detained until August 2000.
11. Wang Erping, Liu Ruiqin from Liuma Village, Lehou County; Gu Fuping from Steel Tube Factory; and Hou Qingtao, Hou Guoen and Du Qunduo have been illegally detained for about three months in the Southern Detention Center because they were suspected of putting up Dafa posters.
