Press Release Held for Cross-Country Appeal from Los Angeles to Washington D.C.

Dafa practitioners from Southern California held a press release on July 6, 2001 in front of the Chinese Consulate to announce their cross-country appeal and promotion plan.

Reporters from The World Daily, Singtau Daily, KABC-TV, KTLA, MBC, FOX, KCAL, AP, CITYNEWS, and other media were present at the press release.

Dafa practitioners are planning a cross-country appeal and promotion from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. by bus. They will be stopping at more than ten cities on the way. Participants include nine Dafa practitioners, three of whom are Caucasians, and one who was imprisoned in China for 100 days. The aim of this journey is to expose the crimes against Falun Dafa practitioners by Jiang Zemin and his accomplices, and call upon the public to help save those still being persecuted in China. Activities that promote Dafa will also be carried out during this bus trip.
