Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Baoxing, male, was from Chengzi Town, Jiujiang County (Shahe), Jiangxi Province. He and his eldest daughter went to Tiananmen Square to validate Falun Dafa prior to the Spring Festival in 2001. They were illegally apprehended and sent back to Jiangxi province. This was the second time they had gone to Tiananmen Square to validate Falun Dafa, and as a result they were severely persecuted by the police. Soon afterwards, the word came that Zhang Baoxing had been tortured to death before the Spring Festival in Shahe.

Zhang's wife, also a Falun Dafa practitioner, was not allowed to pay her husband a last visit prior to the cremation of his body. When Zhang's body was carried away from the hospital for cremation, witnesses saw wounds all over it, and he was still bound to a bed with iron shackles.

Zhang Baoxing's eldest daughter is still being illegally held in a labor camp.

We appeal to all kind-hearted people across the world to pay attention and put a stop to Jiang Zemin and his accomplices' vicious and criminal persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.
