After hearing the shocking news of 15 female Falun Gong practitioners being tortured to death at the Wanjia Labor Camp in Harbin City, we felt very sad. We decided to hold a press conference in front of the Chinese Embassy on the morning of July 4 to expose the bloody persecution by Jiang's evil regime and call on people in the world to help stop the torture and killing in China.
After we arrived at the embassy, it started to rain. Just as usual, we sat down and sent forth righteous thoughts first. We set up posters on both sides of the embassy so that passersby could see the persecution and get truth-clarifying literature.
As it was raining hard, we did not expect any journalists to come. Without pursuit, we sent forth righteous thoughts, practiced the exercises, and promoted Dafa to the police. Soon after, however, two teams from the Irish Times, the biggest and most authoritative newspaper in Ireland, came to conduct interviews with us. An article was published the next day with a big picture of practitioners doing the exercises.
