The Story of a Beijing Falun Dafa Practitioner Defending Dafa

On July 21, 2001, Beijing Falun Dafa practitioner Li Xin (made-up name) held up a Dafa banner at Jinshui Bridge on Tiananmen Square, and yelled out: "Falun Dafa is good!" Afterwards, three policemen jumped towards him and dragged him to a hidden area at the east side of the Square where they beat him. There were citizens watching the whole process. In the crowd someone said, "He practices Falun Gong." "He is really brave." "Look, police are beating people." At the second anniversary of Jiang Zemin gang's persecution of Falun Gong, the behavior of Li Xin shook the citizens strongly.

Before leaving for Tiananmen, Li Xin said, "This is the final period when the evil is going insane, and therefore practitioners need to go to Tiananmen Square, because Tiananmen is where the evils are gathering. This time I am going to eradicate the evil, validate Dafa, and offer salvation to the world people. Last year after coming back from validating Dafa at Tiananmen, I signed the statement to guarantee to 'not go back to Tiananmen' due to my sentimentality and not enough understanding of Dafa. Through out this year, the compassionate Master Li has been waiting for the practitioners to improve and continuously gives us chances to make up for our mistakes. I should go to Tiananmen and realize my oath from the distance past." Afterwards, Li Xin began to diligently prepare a banner, and calmly took care of matters in everyday life.

When the police car took Li Xin away by force, it started to rain heavily. The heaven cried for the behavior of Dafa practitioners. Master said, "The great Fa and the great epoch are forging the greatest Enlightened Beings." (The Disciples' Magnificence)
