Chicago practitioner Zhan Lin started a 10-day round-the-clock vigil in front of the Chinese Consulate on August 15, calling for more people to pay attention to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in Mainland China, and strongly demanding Jiang Zemin's government to stop persecuting Falun Gong and free all detained Falun Gong practitioners.

Until the sit-in ends on August 25, every day and night practitioners will sit with Mr. Lin. Practitioners will also conduct interviews with the media, collect signatures, distribute literature to passersby, clarify the truth, hold group practice and send forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese consulate.
