(Clearwisdom.net) On September 15, 2000, the vicious police of the local police department in Zanhuang County, Shijiazhuang City, began to illegally arrest Dafa practitioners. Practitioners, including Zhou Fengmei (female) from Chuanfang village, Chengguan Town, Liu Zengchen, and Liu Zengliang from Yudi village, Longmen Town were all illegally put into a detention center. On the same day, Zhao Jianhua (female) was also arrested, who is from Zhaojiazhuang Village, Yuantou Town. Half a month later, several other practitioners, such as Li Jinting, Ding Gangzi (male, 47, from East Street of Chengguan Town), Hu Panling (female, from South Xule village of Longmen Town), Zhu Qiujian (female), Ma Zhuliang, etc., were all put into the detention center.
During that 9-month illegal detention period, Zhao Jianhua had protested by hunger striking four times and asked for blameless release. However, those vicious police beat her without restraint, shocked her with electric batons, put handcuffs and shackles on her to prevent her from practicing and didn't let her sleep. When the weather was extremely cold, they forced Dafa practitioners to go outside and stand in the freezing cold weather.
At the beginning of February 2001, Zhao Jianhua carried out her third hunger strike for 15 days. At 10 o'clock on February 17, six wicked ruffians carried her violently to the County Hospital for force-feeding. Since she didn't cooperate with them, four ruffians tied her down on the bed. They roughly shoved a hard plastic pipe into her stomach. At that time, her nose was injured and bleeding. They also used filthy words to verbally abuse her. Those evil police treated all other practitioners, like Liu Zengliang, Hu Panling, and Li Jinting with the same forced nasal feeding method.
In the Zanhuang County detention center, Falun Gong practitioners are deprived of their visitation rights. Their relatives are not permitted to visit. Before they were put into the detention center, they all were body searched. Their belts, pant hooks and hairpins were all confiscated. They were under watch 24-hours a day.
One day, Dafa practitioner Hu Panling was shocked with an electric baton, just because she didn't stand in the line in the yard. Vicious policeman Zhang Zengyun slapped Zhou Fengmei in the face just because Zhou tried to reason with him. Zhao Jianhua was tortured with electric batons by Du Zhanguo because she tried to clarify the truth. Zhu Qiujian sat with her legs crossed [in the meditation position] for a while on her bed, then wicked policeman Zhu Xuchen ferociously grabbed her shackles and pulled her for a long distance on the ground. Because they had insisted on practicing the exercises, several practitioners in that detention center had been handcuffed for one month. They were not allowed to wash their heads and their clothes. Even when they went to the bathroom, they could not pull up their pants because of the handcuffs.
The situation in the cells detaining male Dafa practitioners was even worse. Whenever male Falun Gong practitioners were just put into the detention center, prisoners would beat them. Practitioners did all the work. The vicious police still put pressure on the head of prisoners. They forced those prisoners to torture practitioners by beating and kicking them, not letting them sleep. The methods they used were quite vicious.
Dafa practitioner Liu Zengliang went on a hunger strike for nine days. He received inhuman treatment. He didn't get released until he was almost dying.
Dafa practitioner Liu Zengchen wouldn't cooperate with the evil police. He fainted many times because of the torture and didn't get released until he was almost dying.
Li Jinting, Hu Panling and Zhu Qiujian were very determined. They went on hunger strikes twice. They fainted many times and lost consciousness before they were carried to the hospital. The police released them because they didn't want to take the responsibility in case they died.
There are even worse cases. Chengguan Town police illegally detained Dafa practitioner Ding Gangzi in the Zanhuang County Detention Center three times. He was not allowed to eat there. Yet under such conditions, the evil police handcuffed his hands behind his back and put shackles on his feet. They also shocked him with electric batons and tried to force him to give up his belief in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. He went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention and all the other inhuman treatment he received. Until the day he was tortured to death, he was still handcuffed. That was not the end yet. The police treat human beings like garbage. Not until his body had started to decompose and stink was he carried to the hospital. The police even forced the doctors to give his body emergency treatment and then issue the note of death, saying it was not curable. The police blocked all the information about this tragedy. They didn't even tell the relatives about the death, hoping to shirk their responsibility.
"If humankind does not do something about it, heaven will." In April 2001, Du Zhanguo was punished for his brutal behavior. Days after he furiously beat and shocked a Dafa practitioner with electric batons, he got a phone call from his son, telling him that his wife had gotten into an accident. Later on he found out that she was disabled (half of her body suffered from paralysis). One person performs evil actions, and the whole family receives retribution. This is the warning that the heavens are giving to Zanhuang County's evil forces that persecute Dafa practitioners.
We ask governments from all countries, all international agencies and organizations which protect peace and support the freedom of belief, and all kind-hearted people to rescue the Falun Gong practitioners in jail and stop Jiang Zemin and his associates' brutal torture and killing of Falun Gong practitioners.
