(Clearwisdom.net) Two friendly Chinese people went to the Chinese Consulate in New York by themselves to support the sitting demonstration of Falun Dafa practitioners in the afternoon on August 19, 2001.

In the afternoon on August 19, 2001, the two Chinese people stood alongside the Falun Dafa practitioners during their hunger strike and sitting demonstration in front of the Chinese Consulate in New York. Some practitioners handed them two sets of materials clarifying the truth of Dafa. They accepted with a smile and were happy to stay there with the practitioners. They joined us and held the signboards that say "SOS" and "Hunger Strike For Dr. Teng" to show their support. They confided in the hunger strikers and expressed their regret and complete objection to the Jiang Zemin government's persecution of Falun Gong.

After obtaining their consent, we took pictures of them. A Falun Dafa practitioner gave them the book Zhuan Falun, the most cherished book and also gave them bookmarks.

When they left, they expressed to us that they were concerned about us and that they hoped that the persecution would end soon.
