Photo Report: 24-Hour Hunger Strike in San Francisco


While the sit-in continues, more than 90 practitioners from the San Francisco Bay area started a 24-hour hunger strike in front of the Chinese Consulate at 1 p.m. on August 24, 2001.

They are calling on the Chinese government for immediate release of the 130 practitioners who are on hunger strike for illegally extended terms of imprisonment in the Masanjia Labor Camp.
