(Clearwisdom.net) In early June, Zhang Dezhi, the director of the police station in Qingshan Village, Yushu City, Jilin Province, and another policeman abducted Dafa practitioner Zhang Huayu without a warrant, and his elder sister Zhang Huayun (also a practitioner) was left homeless. Zhang Huayu has been detained since then.

Zhang Dezhi illegally persecutes and arrests Falun Gong practitioners. Twelve practitioners from Qingshan Village alone have been sent to labor camps and over 30 practitioners from this village have been detained.

In mid July, the police and several hired thugs from the Tuqiao Village Police Station in Yushu City forcibly kidnapped and arrested Yuan Junfeng. This practitioner resorted to a hunger strike to protest his illegal detention and has now been sent to a labor camp.

This August, a practitioner in Chengfa Village, Yushu City was walking with his (or her, gender unknown) two sisters who were visiting when they were questioned by Liu Chengming and Liu Zhaojun fromYongfu Village. The two thugs falsely alleged that they had posted Dafa materials and forced them to take the materials down. The police took this practitioner away the next day and the sisters have also been forced to leave their hometown.

On August 14, 2001, police in Peiying Village, Yushu City arrested Dafa practitioner Zhang Shujuan, her sister, and her brother-in-law.

Since July 22, 1999, over 120 innocent Falun Dafa practitioners have been illegally sent to labor camps, even more have been detained, fined and penalized, and many teachers have lost their employment.

Despite this brutal persecution, Dafa practitioners are becoming more and more steadfast and people have also come to realize the extent of the sordid and malicious conduct of Jiang and his clique. Instead of enduring passively, practitioners are eliminating the evil with righteous thoughts, safeguarding Dafa and offering salvation to all sentient beings with great compassion and forbearance.
