Female Falun Gong Practitioner Left Disabled by Exposure to Poisonous Gas in Mengyin County, Shandong Province
By Practitioners in China
(Clearwisdom.Net) Li Zhiyie and Lei Yancheng, leaders of the vicious
forces in Mengyin County, Shandong Province, resorted to using poisonous gas
after other methods of persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners
failed. Devastating
effects have been reported as a result of this diabolic torture.
Falun Gong practitioners have long been subjected to persecution in a variety
of ways, including illegal, sustained periods of detention, illegal searching of
practitioners' homes, assessment of fines, brutal corporal punishment,
implication of family members, and mental torture. After exhausting all the
above-mentioned methods to force Falun Gong practitioners to give up their
beliefs, authorities have now resorted to using poisonous gas. Recently, a case
was reported in which the authorities pumped poisonous gas into rooms where
practitioners were sleeping.
In one instance, they beat practitioner Zhang Rongqiu because she upheld her
beliefs. The beating left her covered with cuts and bruises all over her body.
As further punishment, for three consecutive days, poisonous gas was diffused
into the room where she was illegally detained. The first time they secretly put
the poisonous gas into her room, Zhang felt very weak and was left with no
strength. On the following evening, Zhang experienced headache, weakness and
her face turned very yellow. On the third night, once again they discharged the
poisonous gas into her room. This continued exposure to the noxious gas caused
her body to twitch and tremble uncontrollably. At that moment, she heard a voice
outside the room exclaim, "Too bad! Too bad! We used too much." After
only a short time, Zhang lost consciousness. The persecutors were afraid that
she was dying and feared they would be held responsible, so they sent her to the
County People's Hospital for emergency treatment. By examination the doctors
could not determine what caused Zhang's unconsciousness, so they asked the
authorities what had caused her condition. The persecutors refused to answer,
shirking their responsibility, and sent her back home. That way, they got away
with their crimes, escaping all responsibility.
The continued exposure to the poisonous gas left Zhang disabled. She
currently cannot take care of herself; she cannot even feed herself without
assistance. Her hands are still trembling, and she remains disabled even now,
two months after the incident.
Here, we want to warn all the evil people of Mengyin: you persecute
kind-hearted people and your crimes are too numerous to record. We hope that you
wake up as soon as possible and stop your crimes; otherwise, it will be too late
for regrets! (Reference to the heavenly law that doing good deeds is met with
good rewards, and being evil is met with evil returns.)
