Persecution of Dafa Practitioners in Linxiazhou District of Gansu Province

(Clearwisdom Net) Feng Yongyan, male, 58 years old, a practitioner from Yongjing County of Linxiazhou District, Gansu Province has been to Tiannamen Square three times to validate Dafa. Each time he was detained in detention centers by vicious police. He experienced the worst torture possible in the human world. Once he was hung up for more than five hours and brutally beaten by the detention camp instructor and prisoners. In 2001, he was illegally sentenced to a year in a labor camp in Pingan Tai District. In March of 2000, Feng Yanjun, around 30 years old, the son of Feng Yongyan, also a principal, was detained in a detention center for distributing Dafa truth clarifying materials. There, he experienced the most inhuman torture where his whole body was constrained with metal chains, making it impossible to move. Scolding and beating the practitioners have become the routine for labor camp instructors, especially towards Feng Yancai, Xu Xia and other practitioners. (They were arrested in November 2000 during their appeal in Beijing and are now illegally detained in Pingan Tai Labor Camp for a year of enforced labor education). Due to her strong dedication to Dafa, Feng Yanjun's wife has already been detained in a detention center for over three months. Her two children were left at home without anyone to look after them. There is more than one family in Yongjing County that has experienced inhuman torture; there was the family of Bai Jinyu and Zhang Guifu and others. We hope that more kindhearted people will come forth to stop the injustice from happening there.

In Linxia City of Linxiazhou District in Gansu Province, practitioner Kong Lingpu, male, a 29- year-old undergraduate, was illegally sentenced to a year's labor camp for his persistence in practicing Falun Gong and his determination in appealing in Beijing. When his term was up, due to the fact that his work unit did not go and pick him up, the labor camp prolonged his sentence. We hope that some kindhearted people will help. Jiao Tianyun, female, a 24-year-old practitioner with a college degree from Linxia County in Gansu Province, used to work in Xianfeng County. During the 2000 New Year, she went to Beijing twice to validate Dafa and clarify the truth to people. Because of this, in January of 2001 (Lunar Calendar), she was sent to the Narcotics Rehabilitation Center and persecuted for four months. After her release, she continued to clarify the truth to people so the County chief then sent her to the Linxia Detention Center and nothing has been heard from her since. Inside the Linxia Detention Center, instructors order the prisoners and vicious policemen to commit all kinds of bad deeds. Like animals, they commit all sorts of evil acts, such as ordering a practitioner to take a bath during the coldest time of the year and forcing them to kneel outside in the snow . Some practitioners were hung up for a long time, while others were forced to sit on a "tiger bench" (a brutal torture device). They would also extort money from practitioners.

Yang Wenxue, secretary of the Politics and Judiciary Committee, is the head persecutor of Falun Gong practitioners. While 17 to 18 Dafa practitioners were being sent to a brainwashing class, Yang Wenxue was injured in a car accident. If he does not repent, real tribulations will follow!

After Dafa practitioners were released from the brainwashing class, the superintendent of the Narcotics Rehabilitation Center received retribution his evil deeds and contracted a disease.
