Retribution in Wuhan City: Devastating Fires

(Clearwisdom.Net) In September, man-made fires took place frequently in Wuhan city, Hubei Province, destroying large areas of forest. The Wuhan local government announced on September 6, that the city is in an urgent state of fire prevention.

On September 1^st and 3^rd, two fires occurred in succession in the Mulan mountain area in the Huangpi district, Wuhan city, causing nine hundred mu [1 mu = 0.165 acres] of mountainous region and forest to be destroyed.

Two reasons were given for the fires: 1) the source of water in the forest area ran dry in the summer leaving the woods dry and 2) man-made accidents. To the four thousand soldiers and civilians fighting the fire in Wuhan, "Have you thought about the origin of this disaster?"

Since July 1999, the "610" offices of Hubei Province and Wuhan city, the Police Departments at each level and the administration offices at each level have carried out the orders of Jiang Zemin's regime and diligently persecuted kind-hearted Falun Gong practitioners. To date, over 15 Falun Gong practitioners in Hubei province have been tortured to death. The police officers have implemented terrorist policies against Falun Gong practitioners and their families and used all kinds of brutal devices to torture practitioners. Their deeds have made both human beings and gods indignant.

Li Changjun holds a Master's degree in Computer Applied Technology from Huazhong University of Science & Technology. On May 16, 2001, the police illegally took Li and some other Dafa practitioners into custody when they were preparing truth-clarifying literature in Wuhan. All the other six practitioners arrested at the time held Master's degrees or even doctorates. During the illegal detention by the Wuhan police, they were severely mistreated and tortured. They went on a hunger strike to appeal. After more than 40 days of brutal torture, Li died at 10:08 p.m. on June 27.

When his family saw his body, they found it emaciated and seriously disfigured. His face, neck, and many other areas of his body had turned purple and black from bruising. His hands were clenched tightly into fists, his teeth were crooked, and his back was so severely burned that it looked as though the flesh had been cooked. It was a truly tragic sight.

The police arrested Zhu Hanbin at his work place in December 2000. He is still in custody.

The police took Wang Qinlian and two other members of her family away on August 5, 2000. Since then there has been no news about them.

When relatives came to visit, the Jailers of Hewan Labor Camp in Hubei Province shouted: "No visiting is allowed. Go home and wait to collect the corpses!"

Even worse is that the frenzied police officers burned Falun Gong practitioner Wang Huazhen alive in public in Baiguo Township, Macheng City.

For the past two years, the various fires, droughts, and man-made mishaps have verified the words of a sage, "When people do not have virtue, natural calamities and man-made disasters will abound." These disasters are the direct result of the killing of practitioners and the persecution of Falun Dafa by Jiang's evil followers. Terror and evil deeds are not allowed by heaven. If men do not change their ways, heaven will intervene. Good is rewarded with good and evil is met with evil. If people do not wake up, even worse catastrophes will follow.
