"Clarify the truth thoroughly, eliminate the evil with righteous thoughts, save all beings, and safeguard the Fa with determination" (Dafa is Indestructible)

Boiling Salt Water, Drugs, and Electric Batons
--- Inhuman Torturing of Practitioners in Masanjia Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net)

Masanjia Labor Camp in Liaoning Province is an evil den where practitioners detained have all experienced and witnessed inhuman treatment. The police guards use various physical tortures on benevolent practitioners in order to force them to give up their faith in "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance."

They often use methods such as continuous slapping in the face, repeated shocks from an electric baton, and solitary confinement. Some practitioners were hung up spread-eagled for three or four hours. The police guards even force-feed practitioners on hunger strike with boiling salt water. In other cases, some practitioners received injections of harmful drugs and became handicapped. But, according to Chinese authorities, they are said to have hurt themselves.

Once, the guards asked us to recite the rules in the labor camp. We firmly refused and said aloud together, "We are Dafa practitioners, not criminal inmates." And we started to recite Hong Yin (a collection of poems written by the Teacher of Falun Dafa). They punched and kicked us, slapping our faces severely. Many of us later found it was too painful to touch the upper and lower teeth. And this lasted for many days. In addition to these punishments, we work 15 to 16 hours a day. After these long days, they wouldn't allow us to go to bed before 12:00 a.m. The food we are given consists of steamed corn bread that is uncooked inside served with several pieces of vegetable leaves boiled in water, with flies and bugs floating on the surface.

When families of practitioners come to visit, the labor camp recommends that they have a meal there. If they won't, they are given only ten minutes to talk to their beloved ones. The meal consists of only a few dishes, such as eggplant, onions, fish, and rancid peanuts. Yet these few dishes cost over a hundred Yuan (translator's note: the average monthly income of an urban city worker is 500 Yuan). Things in the labor camp are sold at a much higher price than outside.

In order to hide the truth, the labor camp put up a false front to cope with the inspection from higher authorities. One day as we were busy working in the workshop, the guards heard that higher authorities were coming to inspect. They notified practitioners to stop working and return to their cell at once, so as to make them think we are being treated humanely. There are countless cases like that to fool the authorities.

The guards have a strong pursuit of personal interest, so they disregard the rules and regulations, violating the law as law-enforcement personnel. They claim to convert practitioners with "persuasion, education, affection, and influence," but what they actually carry out is physical and mental torture, physical punishment, and other inhuman methods. They also force practitioners to write "repentance letters."

Li Yaning received dozens of slaps in the face in rapid succession and her face was swollen for several days. Following the slaps, the guards used an electric baton on her.

Li Xiaoyan was forced to stand in her underwear in a corridor where there is no heat in the winter until 2:00 a.m. At 5:00 a.m., they forced her to start with labor work as usual.

Li Yan also wouldn't give up practicing, so the guards used the largest electric baton on her. As a result, her neck, hands, and legs became covered with big blisters.

Liu Fengmei has been put into solitary confinement for dozens of days now. The guards often do not give her food or water for periods of several days.

Wang Yanxia has been on hunger strike for over 80 days. The wicked police guards have tried prying her mouth open with a pair of iron scissors and force-feeding her with boiling salt water. As a result, her mouth is now covered with blisters and two of her teeth are broken.

Li Yingxuan is under supervision whenever she has a meal, sleeps, or goes to the bathroom. The guards often beat and curse her. The rest of the time, she is forced to study the materials, which are full of slander and dirty words.

The above is only a partial list of the terrible things happening in Masanjia Labor Camp. All kind-hearted people, please come to know the evil nature of Jiang Zemin and his group's persecution against innocent people.
