Announcing the Establishment of the Norwegian Falun Gong Association


Practitioners in Norway

Oslo, September 23, 2001

Practitioners in Norway have until recently been associated with the Nordic Association of Falun Gong, which operates mostly in Sweden. We are now happy to announce the establishment of our own national association.

The purpose for the Norwegian Association is partly, through cultivation practice, to develop our bodies and minds, to support our good health, and to cultivate our hearts to reach higher levels. It is also to support the forces of goodness and peace in everyday life and, on a larger scale, to bridge the gaps between people, cultures and countries. In addition, we will inform the population about the situation of Falun Gong and its practitioners in other countries and cultures.

The practitioners in Norway are cultivating according to the universal principles of Truth - Compassion - Forbearance (Zhen-Shan-Ren) in order to lay a good foundation for their activities of spreading the Fa to the public.

We are also concerned with supporting our friends in other countries. This week some of us will be in Rome to help our friends in Italy spread the Fa. After that we are looking forward to further activities in our new association in Norway.
