(Clearwisdom.net) Wang Xiaozong was a resident of Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province. He was illegally detained on August 17, 2001, and died within two weeks after his detention.

Wang Xiaozong, male, around 30, lived in Aimin District of Mudanjiang City. He was illegally detained on August 17, 2001. Two weeks after his detention, his family received a death notice from the detention center. The day before Wang died, his wife went to see him. Wang told her that the guards used electric batons to shock him, and mentioned that the food there was very poor. He died the next day. But his family didn't receive the notice until the day after. They were told that Wang died from a brain hemorrhage. The detention center claimed that they were not at all responsible for his death.

All the employees at Wang's workplace were angry when they heard the news, for Wang worked very hard and was praised by all of his colleagues. Moreover, everyone who knew him says that he was in excellent health. Nobody believed that he had died in the detention center from some sort of medical problem. Wang is survived by his aged father who cannot care for himself, his wife who is unemployed, and two young children. A family has been ruined.

A good person who is praised by everyone is tortured to death two weeks after his detention. Yet the police use the same old excuse to distort the facts. They treat human life as though it were just grass on the ground. When the time comes, good is rewarded with good and evil is met with evil. The persecutors of Falun Dafa practitioners will be judged for what they have done. Let all people of goodwill come to know the truth and help them stand up against the persecution.
