Protest the Abuse and Murder, Clarify the Truth

Voice of America January 11^th Asian report: thousands of Falun Gong practitioners and supporters gathered in front of Chinese consulates and embassies around the world on the 11^th and 12^th to condemn the Jiang government's recent escalation of persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

World Journal January 15^th report: today, Falun Gong practitioners in the Boston area held a press conference in a small park near the Chinatown. They accused the Jiang government of killing 20 Falun Gong practitioners in China in the last 22 days. [Practitioners in] over 30 cities around the world are holding a 3-day candlelight vigil in hopes of attracting the world's attention.

Voice of America January 12^th report: Falun Gong practitioners in Canada held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese consulate to protest the government's intensifying suppression of Falun Gong and hoping to attract the world's attention. Practitioners in Toronto and Montreal even took legal steps against the newspapers Xingdao Daily and Huaqiao Times [for their slanders of Falun Gong].

Latest News From China

Today, 255 people published solemn declarations expressing their deep regrets for having said and done things that 'didn't conform to Dafa while under persecution and pressure. They claim all those words and actions are completely void. From now on, they will double their efforts and determinedly keep up with Fa-rectification. They will fulfill all their vows and 'be worthy of their great Teacher's benevolence and 'arduous salvation!

The grandfather of the Zhou sisters in Chongqing City was an affluent banker [before 1949]. However, all of his inheritance and property were confiscated by the Chinese government, who refused to return them. The Zhou family appealed several times. Not only did they fail to get their money back, they were put under surveillance by the police. Later, seven of the eight Zhou sisters started practicing Dafa, and they never asked for the return of their money ever since. After July 20, 1999, after learning the Zhou sisters were practicing Dafa, the police department sent a secret order: "The Zhou sisters are not allowed to be together; otherwise they should be arrested." Because of this, several of the seven sisters were arrested many times, sent to forced labor camps and brutally tortured.

During an interrogation, I was taken into the politics and security office of Qidong County Police Department in Hunan Province and saw a plate of honor hanging on the wall that said, "Outstanding Work Unit" because of their "achievement" in the persecution of Falun Dafa. I was very sad and indignant. Herein I want to expose the "outstanding achievements" of this work unit, namely, their illegal detention and torture of Dafa practitioners, and I want to let people see the real face of this "outstanding hell."

On December 28, 2001, a dozen practitioners in Heilongjiang Province went to Beijing to appeal. When they were checked for tickets at Harbin City Train Station, they were arrested for not cursing Dafa and were brutally tortured. A female police officer spun around each practitioner after they were hung up in the air, and she kicked them and banged their heads against the wall by grabbing their hair, shouting, "I've been beating people for two, three years"!" Many practitioners lost consciousness from the beating. The vicious police even demanded that everyone pay 200 Yuan [about US$25] for a "beating fee."

Natural Disasters are Warnings to People

The heavens will punish if the people don't. On the third day after the death of practitioner Wang Tiesong in Yanji Forced Labor Camp, a rare snowstorm that hasn't been experienced in fifty years attacked Yanji City, Jilin Province, and caused serious economic losses. From January 6 to 8, people were shocked to discover that the traffic was completely paralyzed and vehicles could hardly move on the road.

It is not mere coincidence that sandstorms are attacking Beijing. The vicious police in Yanqing County have committed atrocities that have infuriated the heavens. The constant bad weather and abnormal climate that has been occurring in China for the past two years is the result of the Jiang criminal group's brutality against Falun Gong practitioners, which is against the will of heaven. Natural disasters are warnings to people.

Exposing the mystery associated with the "pearl in the north" [Dalian City in Liaoning Province]: Looking back at the history of Dalian City, the year 1999 was a turning point. Before, Dalian enjoyed fast development and good weather, but since 1999, disasters have occurred unceasingly. Droughts have occurred when rain is needed and floods came when water was not needed. Since June of 1999, Dalian City government have used violence to persecute and suppress Falun Gong practitioners and the police have committed countless brutalities.

Falun Dafa Overseas

Practitioners from Russia protested against the persecution in front of the Chinese Embassy. They also tried twice to deliver a public letter to staff members of the Embassy, but the letter was refused each time.

People Who Have Seen the Truth and thus Saved

A new Fa-rectification atmosphere appeared in a small town around New Year's Day: banners that read "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance," "Falun Dafa is good," and "Falun Dafa is a righteous cultivation way" could be seen everywhere. People saw the colorful fliers falling from the sky and learned the truth. The vicious "610" Office" and the wicked police also showed their real, ugly faces in front of people.

Two stories in which fortunate people obtained Dafa in the unfavorable environment:

1. In the beginning of Dec 2001, my younger sister saw the "Real story about the self-immolation in Tiananmen Square." She was shocked by the atrocities of the government officials. With tears in her eyes, she finished reading the cases of persecution. Upon learning the truth of Falun Dafa, my younger sister understood why our elder sister persisted in her cultivation even after she lost her job and became homeless. As a result, my younger sister started her cultivation.
   
2. In the beginning of February [Chinese lunar calendar, about March of 2001] last year, the police found some Dafa materials while they were searching for me. They then illegally detained my sister-in-law, who was not a practitioner at the time. My sister-in-law said to the police, "You have to release me in 15 days; otherwise I will start to practice Falun Gong." On day 15, she was not released. As she had promised, she started to learn the movements of Falun Gong. On the next day, she was released, but she has kept studying Fa and practicing the movements since then.

Recently, I made a phone call to my friend in China. From the conversation, I learned the following happily: The media controlled by Jiang went too far in the slandering and the lies, and they cannot fool the public any more. Instead, people are waking up to the truth: "What is wrong with this government, they do not arrest the bad guys, yet they keep harassing the good people!" "The propaganda on TV is obviously making excuses for their persecution of the good people."á

Stories of Cultivation within Fa Rectification

Here is a female farmer's experience in obtaining the Fa, cultivation practice, and safeguarding the Fa: It is Falun Dafa that has given me a happy family. When Dafa was slandered, my whole family legally appealed to the higher authorities and clarified the truth to ordinary people. As a result, we suffered a variety of persecutions from the vicious officials and policemen. My husband was illegally sentenced to three years' imprisonment where he was tortured so badly that one could not bear to see him.

Cultivation story of another female practitioner: With the miraculous help of my two grandchildren, I found clearwisdom.net (Chinese version). My understanding of Fa Rectification has improved rapidly. I made many kinds of Dafa truth materials and big adhesive banners with important contents by myself. In addition, I also asked several other practitioners who only practiced at home to help me in making more Dafa materials. My husband, two grandchildren and I go to the free market every day to distribute Dafa truth materials. We all cultivate ourselves diligently in Fa Rectification.

Comments from Many People

The consequence of lies in mainland China's media: Jiang's regime has spent enormous amounts of money trying to block information from the Internet, directly controlling media reports and absolutely forbidding overseas satellite TV programs in order to conceal the truth. The Chinese media has been corrupted to the lowest point possible thanks to Jiang's dictatorship. True Falun Dafa practitioners have no opportunities to speak out while the fake ones can speak on TV programs or newspapers on and on.

Thoughts from the "Cultural Revolution:" The present Chinese authorities have not learned any historical lessons yet. Slandering Falun Gong continuously and persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners severely, they do not care about the lives and deaths of the Chinese people'. They arrest and beat whomever they feel like, framing and making false charges against good people. Lies pile up every day. Thus, the internal contradictions among people have increased. On the surface, they talk about solidarity and human rights vehemently. In action, they have been creating internal conflicts. What a tragedy it is!
