(Clearwisdom.net) On a train to Southern China, a government official was complaining with great anger, "Look at what Jiang Zemin has done to mess up the country. Falun Gong practitioners never get involved in illegal activities and none of them are making money inappropriately. They are all so righteous and never use profanity. The government persecutes Falun Gong practitioners but leaves many criminals alone. Jiang Zemin spends all of his energy persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Isn't this person evil?"

Before the persecution, a seventy-year old retired government official practiced Falun Gong and was in perfect health. After the persecution, his children burned all his Falun Gong books under pressure from the government. The old man's health has declined a great deal. Recently, his son-in-law said, "They claim that Falun Gong has political backing. Now I understand that so many people became free of illness by reading Zhuan Falun. Why do they need any backing from political forces? Before, I did not understand why Jiang Zemin wanted to persecute Falun Gong. Now I know. Falun Gong stands for righteous principles, and Jiang Zemin promotes evil thoughts. Falun Gong's principles make Jiang Zemin feel very upset. How could he put up with it?"

When I was talking about Falun Gong with my childhood friend, she said, "I have read some Falun Gong books. The books only teach people to become good people. There is not a single sentence that teaches people to be bad. Why do they badmouth Falun Gong? Now Jiang Zemin, Zeng Qinghong and Luo Gan (Jiang's close associates) are in power. But wait until they step down and are replaced by good people. Then, the government will surely, with great courtesy and respect, invite your Teacher back to China."
