"610 Office" Enforcers in Shijiazhuang City Continue their Illegal Activities

(Clearwisdom.net) Facing the ever more-magnificent waves of Fa-rectification, the "610 Office" in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province is gasping its last breath. [The "610 Office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute powers over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.] Dafa practitioners have distributed a great deal of flyers and compact discs, and hung up lots of Dafa banners. More and more people have learned about the truth and treat Falun Gong practitioners with kindness.

The evil now has even less existing space than before and has begun its crazy last struggles. Around 6 p.m. on December 21, 2001, there was an illegal "arrest" of Dafa practitioners at Apartment 9-1-603 in the Binhe Residential Area. This illegal action was led by people from the Shijiazhuang City "610 Office." Ma Wensheng, from the Politics and Security Bureau of the City Police Department was among the perpetrators, while Li Rongqi, the Politics and Security Bureau chief of Qiaoxi District Police Department also participated. Li Rongqi is the one who killed practitioner Zuo Zhigang. There were also a bunch of thug-like policemen. This group illegally arrested practitioners and stole their money and property.

The following practitioners were arrested:

Huang Xiuping, female, 44 years old, an assistant engineer at Shijiazhuang Post Office

Lu Ran, female, 24 years old, 1999 graduate of Shijiazhuang City Normal School

Liu Guojun, male, 31 years old, a worker at a branch company of the China Liantong Co.,

One other male practitioner who didn't give his name to police was also arrested.

When the arrest took place, the police forced the landlord to ask the practitioners to open the door. Then, the perpetrators immediately burst into the room and handcuffed practitioners Huang Xiuping and Lu Ran. They also rummaged through drawers and chests and looted valuables. It was not until around 8 p.m. that the police finished ransacking the place. They took all the practitioners to Hongqi Street Police Station. The things they looted included three computers, three printers, around 40,000 Yuan [about US$5,000; $60 is the average monthly income in urban China] in cash and bank deposit books, Dafa books and Dafa banners.

The male practitioner who wouldn't tell his name for three days got out of jail with righteous thoughts. The rest of the practitioners held a hunger strike to protest their illegal detention. They have already been taken away for interrogation by people from the Politics and Security Bureau of Shijiazhuang City Police Department.

From the time this incident first took place until now, the police never notified any of the practitioners' family members. Practitioners' family members, if you are reading this article, please go to the Politics and Security Bureau to inquire about your loved ones as soon as possible. We can't allow these ruffians to rampage on the soil of our country any longer! Dafa practitioners gave up everything they had in order to clarify the truth, only to save every precious life!
