Clarify the Truth and Offer Salvation to People

Change people's notions during the process of clarifying the truth. I clarified the truth to some relatives of a police officer on a long-distance bus ride, and I experienced the realm of fearlessness myself. One day I said good-bye to my grandfather who had been paralyzed and made bed ridden due to cerebral thrombosis. He suddenly said, "Can you save me?" This sentence made my heart tremble. I taught my grandfather to say, "Falun Dafa is good." He had been waiting for this sentence for as long as ninety years and I almost let him miss it because of a wrong decision made in a moment of weakness.

Tailoring appropriate means to different people while clarifying the truth achieves better results. The human notion is made of countless layers of shells. In order to break these shells, we cannot use human logic to evaluate the propriety of our actions. But after all, we still live among everyday people, so we should use different approaches with different people while clarifying the truth, and if we can use our own experiences to clarify the truth, the results will be even better.

A Cultivation Story

Here is an experience of Fa-rectification from a Dafa practitioner from Sichuan Province. This practitioner was arrested in November last year while going to Beijing to clarify the truth of Dafa. He was detained in Tiananmen Square Police Station along with 27 other fellow practitioners and was very poorly treated. Later, he was held in a local detention center. He and eleven fellow practitioners refused to comply with the evil police; they studied the Fa, practiced the Falun Gong exercises, sent forth righteous thoughts, promoted Dafa and clarified the truth. As a result, the environment has been rectified: more than 80% of the people in the prison cells learned the truth or obtained Dafa.

Have Faith in Teacher and Walk Out of the Detention Center Openly and Aboveboard

Something happened just before the New Year that resulted in a serious consequence. I was not cautious enough and opened the door for a vicious police officer who immediately arrested me and fellow practitioner Cao. I didn't feel much pain when I went through 24 hours of the "Tiger Bench" torture. [In this torture method, the practitioner is forced to sit on a small iron bench that is approximately 20 cm (6 inches) tall with his knees tightly tied to it. He is not allowed to turn his head, close his eyes, speak, or raise his hands. If he turns his head, he will be forced to hold his head in that position indefinitely. So within two days I walked out of the detention center, openly and aboveboard. I have actually realized that as long as we fill our hearts with the Fa and keep only Teacher in mind, our righteous thoughts are very powerful and we can smoothly overcome any horrendous tribulations.

A Japanese news report [Chaori]: On January 13, 2002, about 200 Falun Gong practitioners in Japan held a parade in Nagoya City and demanded that the Chinese government stop persecuting Falun Gong.

Central News Agency report on January 17^th, 2002 from Rome: Today, 27 Falun Gong practitioners from Taiwan gathered in front of the Chinese consulate in Rome, Italy to protest the Chinese government's persecution of Falun Gong. Many news reporters went to interview them. These practitioners said their actions are voluntary, and they hope to attract the voice of justice and let the public learn that Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa.

News from China

One hundred and eighty-eight people solemnly declared that what they said and did that was not fit for a Falun Dafa practitioner to do while being brainwashed and tortured to be invalid. They are determined to make up for what was lost, and steadfastly clarify the truth, expose the persecution, safeguard Falun Dafa and prove with their actions that they are worthy of the name of Falun Dafa practitioner.

More than 20 Falun Dafa practitioners were recently tortured to death by Jiang's regime, bringing disasters to the people. In Loudi City, Hunan Province, 51 people died in a series of three accidents that happened within two days in Zijiang Mine. There was a gas explosion in a mine in Ping Township, Jiangxi Province, in which 7 people died and 1 is missing. An explosion took place in a coal mine in Wenshan, Yunnan Province that left 25 people dead. Two people died in an accident at a firecracker factory in Tangshan City, Hebei Province.

At the anniversary celebration of Daqing College of Petroleum on September 7, 2001, practitioners unfurled two banners that said, "Falun Dafa is Good." The practitioners were arrested and tortured. They were handcuffed with their hands behind their backs to a radiator and hung more than one meter above the ground. Their heads were then hit with a chair. Practitioner Chen Chunlin was sentenced to 7 years in prison.

The testimony of one Falun Gong practitioner in Daqing City: At 9:00 p.m. on December 21, 2001 Liu Yingshan from the Political and Security Department of Daqing City Public Security Bureau, along with six or seven others, broke into my home. They pulled me from my bed and kidnapped me, taking me to a detention center. I started a hunger strike demanding my release. Liu Yingshan (whose phone number is 86-455-7332909) beat me and cursed at me. I was released later only when I was in critical condition.

Two Short Stories during the Fa-Rectification Process

One villager was a thief. The county Party secretary summoned him on many occasions and promised him a bonus if he would be responsible for arresting Falun Gong practitioners distributing flyers and putting up banners at night. The villager said righteously: "I could accept anyone's money. However, Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. I could not spend that money." The villagers all talked about it and said that: "He has accumulated a lot of De this time."

Soon before the winter vacation, a teacher in a village held a meeting with the children in the middle school where she taught and told them: "Please do not be naughty and do not tear up the Falun Gong materials. Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa." The children answered together: "Yes!"

An article from Democratic Asia, "God, please let me be far away from terror," described how yesterday, on the New Year's Eve of 2002, a retired doctor who is the most respected person in the whole county was arrested for practicing Falun Gong and going to Beijing to appeal. The officials were annoyed. They not only fined the hospital for 100, 000 Yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan], but also cancelled the year-end bonuses of all the employees in the hospital.
