Taiwan Dafa Practitioners' Fa-rectification Journey in Italy

Italian Dafa Practitioners

On January 14, 2002, Monday, 27 Taiwan Dafa practitioners arrived at Milan Airport, Italy and started their Fa-rectification journey there.

January 14, 2002 (Monday), Hongfa and clarify the truth of Falun Gong in a Milan Chinese Residential Area

January 15, 2002 (Tuesday), in a downtown square

The practitioners went to a prominent place near Duomo Square. Many tramcars pass by there, so many Milan residents saw the practitioners' activities.

Member of Parliament (MP) Yasha Reibman, from the Transnational Radical Party, Lista Emma Bonino, and other Radical Party members came to the square and expressed their personal support to Dafa. Milano Sei TV Station sent reporters to cover the event and aired the story three times in the evening. Local newspapers also covered the event.

January 16, 2002 (Wednesday), in front of the Chinese Consulate in Florence

The Italian Dafa Association held a joint press conference in front of the Chinese Consulate. MP Massimo Lensi and Mr. Tommaso Colombini, a representative of Andrea Tamburi Association, attended the conference. All invited media were present, including 4 TV stations, several news agencies, and local newspapers. A reporter who had interviewed the practitioners in the morning returned in the afternoon and filed a detailed, positive report.

After the conference, some of the practitioners joined MP Massimo Lensi and Mr. Tommaso Colombini to visit the District and City governments. The Radical Party radio station broadcast the event live.

In the afternoon of January 16, the practitioners went to the Florence Republic Square, practiced the exercises and distributed flyers.

January 17, 2002 (Thursday), in front of Chinese Embassy in Rome

In front of the Chinese Embassy, Ms. Elisabetta Zampuratti from HANDS OFF CAIN (a human rights organization), and Senator D'Amico participated in the activity of exposing the Jiang Regime's persecution. TV station RAV2 and other news agencies covered the event.

January 17, 2002 (Thursday), on Piazza Montecitorio (square in front of the parliament)

MP On. La Russa, the Chairman of Alleanza Nazionale Party and two other MPs came forward and asked the practitioners how they could help. The practitioners introduced them to Falun Dafa and the persecution in China.

January 18, 2002 (Friday), on Victoria Square, Rome

Chinese tourists often visit the square and the practitioners clarified the truth to them. Some awakened when faced with the facts.

A group of practitioners also visited government offices.
