German Dafa Practitioners Hold Candlelight Vigil Outside Chinese Embassy in Munich in Memory of Fellow Practitioners Tortured to Death in China

Grim news came from China again -- evil Jiang's government had tortured to death at least 20 practitioners within 22 days, just for these persons' firm belief in Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance. During the holiday season, the atrocities had continued, unabated. Jiang's vicious gang even strangled to death in broad daylight a Dafa practitioner on the street. On January 19 and 20, practitioners in Munich, Germany held candlelight vigils in memory of their fellow practitioners who were tortured to death in China. They also held SOS! activities to clarify the truth about Dafa to more people and expose the evil of the Jiang-Luo Gang.

During this Fa-rectification period, many practitioners are keeping themselves very busy being involved in all kinds of Dafa activities. At first, we weren't sure how many practitioners from other areas would be able to join us for the events. However, we realized that what we were doing was to clarify the truth, expose the evil and save people. So we let go of our worries, and realized that no matter how many people would participate, Dafa practitioners' pure, righteous thoughts would terrify the evil forces.

The weather was very cold. Practitioners from Regensburg came; a practitioner in her 70s who just recently obtained the Fa came; another practitioner came with her little children. Right across from the Chinese Embassy, the practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts over and over again to eliminate the evil forces, and kept demonstrating the Dafa exercises to show Dafa's greatness to people. A young policeman jumped out his car and walked over to us, saying, "I've been watching you. Your movements are so graceful. Can I have a newspaper with photos in it that demonstrate the exercises? I want to learn Falun Gong."

A lot of people stopped and asked why we were there. After they learned about the truth, they all sincerely expressed their support and wished us success. Many asked, "What can I do to help? Can I sign a petition or something?" We didn't have any petition forms with us on the first day. Then on the second day, despite the cold, a woman went out of her way just to come sign the petition. After we clarified the truth to another young woman for only a moment, she immediately said, "The Chinese Government is so evil for doing this. I'll write to the Chinese Embassy staff as soon as I get home." We all felt that people showed more support and understanding to us than before. More and more people have learned the truth.

Meanwhile, the embassy staff went in and out of the building. Practitioners handed them truth-clarifying materials and told them sincerely, "The reason we're here today is to clarify the truth." We definitely don't treat them [embassy officials] as enemies. What we are doing these days in terms of clarifying the truth and offering people salvation is also meant for them. They too are victims of evil Jiang's lies. We practitioners also wrote an open letter to the embassy staff members (http://www.minghui.ca/mh/articles/2002/1/23/23665.html) and delivered it to them the following week.
