Exposing the Lies and Clarifying the Truth in Order to Save the Sentient Beings

Both my spouse and I have been locked up, first one and then the other, in the farm detention center, because we practice Falun Gong. The payment of our wages was frozen and as much as twenty thousand Yuan [the average annual salary of an urban worker is six thousand Yuan] has been extorted from us. A person in the community office in charge of persecuting Falun Gong said, "At present, it is the time for suppressing Falun Gong." In response, I told him sternly, "Right now, it is the great period for Falun Gong to go forward in clarifying the truth to the whole human race, to expose the evil and to save sentient beings."

Today two hundred and thirty people issued their solemn statements to Minghui net, declaring that all they had said, done, and written previously, that was damaging to the dignity of Dafa, became invalid. From now on, they will use practical actions to compensate for the loss they caused to Dafa; by exposing the evil, clarifying the truth, and becoming dignified and upright Fa-rectification disciples.

My appeal

I had been detained several times for going to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. I once saw a female practitioner being shocked on her vagina with electric batons by a policeman. I have been illegally sentenced to forced labor for one year in Masanjia Labor Camp where the practitioners are not allowed to sleep and are persecuted with electric batons and forced squatting. The evil policemen confiscated two cellular phones and over seven thousand Yuan from me (the average annual salary of an urban worker is six thousand Yuan). Recently, they confiscated the taxi that I jointly bought with someone else and have kept it for exclusive use by the public security bureau.

I was detained at the Changping County Detention Center in Beijing for going to [Tiannanmen Square] to appeal. The vicious police officers beat and kicked Dafa practitioners. They also forced practitioners to stand and squat for a long time and subjected them to the torture called "fly the airplane," [which involves standing with one's backside against the wall, one's head dropped forward, and both hands extended up from behind] for over 18 hours at a time.

I was tortured for 40 days at Section 13 of Beijing's Police Department. I had to wear handcuffs all the time. The vicious police hit my face with rubber shoes, a screwdriver, and a mop handle. They forced me to stand in the "army corps" posture, [a torture where practitioners are exposed to the scorching sun in summer, their feet standing on the burning ground or pavement.] Sunburn caused the skin on my face to peel off. They also deprived me of sleep. Other practitioners were sent to a mental institution.

A retired Party secretary came to the work unit to get his salary and we talked for a while. Naturally, we talked about things of our concern. The old secretary said, "The bloody murder case that was on TV a couple of days ago looked fake at first sight. That person (the murderer) spoke in such an insincere manner, as if he was reciting lines."

Cultivation Stories

On Oct. 22, I went to a residential area to distribute truth-clarifying materials. Because I did not realize my attachments, I was arrested by the police and illegally detained. In the police station, I kept strong righteous thoughts. I clarified the truth, disclosed the evil, and did not cooperate with the police. I went on a hunger strike to protest my illegal arrest and detention. I was released and returned home after eight days after beginning the hunger strike.

Since all the local police know me, I began distributing the truth-clarifying materials through the mail only. I would write the addresses on the envelopes at home and then mail the materials so the police could not see what I was doing. Only after I went out once to pass out some fliers did I realize my attachment of fear. After I eliminated the attachment, every two or three days I went out to hand out truth-clarifying materials with ease. I realized that Teacher is leading us on every step of our cultivation.

The experience of a new practitioner from Taiwan

I have always been searching for the meaning of life: "Why am I here in this place at this time and where will I go from here? What is my destiny?" After I studied Falun Dafa, all of the questions in my heart, which had plagued my days and nights, were answered. In less than three months, I experienced a complete physical and mental metamorphosis. Previously, I could not sleep well (insomnia), and I would have loose bowels after I drank milk (lactose intolerance). I no longer experience these physical symptoms. My son has also noticed other changes. He says I am more kind and benevolent since practicing Falun Gong.

Our community office called for papers on how to change the bad image and improve the reputation of government organizations. I suddenly realized that I could validate Dafa indirectly to people in the world. So I submitted a paper in which I wrote the following about moral standards: "Human beings are the most precious and they should know how to cherish others and how to be responsible to others. As human beings, we should have righteous views, righteous thoughts, righteous speech, and righteous actions."

The vice chairman of the National Affairs Committee, and also the parliamentarian of the Duma in Russia, wrote to the St. Petersburg City Government on December 20, reminding them that the so called "Anti-[slanderous words omitted] Exhibition" that is to be held by the Chinese Consulate is a violation of Russian citizens' rights.

I would like to ask the media in Mainland China: Do you still have any conscience? Nowadays the media has been totally reduced to a tool that the rulers use to fool the citizens. The former director of the People's Literature Press said in his book Reflection on My Life, "I had prepared to sacrifice everything for the revolution, however, I did not expect that I had to sacrifice my conscience!"
