Exposing the Persecution on the Train

(Clearwidsom.net)

In September 2002, I took a train to visit my hometown. I was seated across from three female college students, so I sent forth righteous thoughts and struck up a conversation with them.

At first I just talked about some typical bad social phenomena such as how people are becoming more and more selfish. Then I switched the topic, "In fact this social decay is mainly caused by the person in power. For instance, let's take the persecution of Falun Gong today. As far as I know, Falun Gong teaches Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. It requires practitioners to do good deeds, and has played a big role in stabilizing society as well as reversing and resisting the trend towards moral decay. But not only does the person in power not promote it, he instead persecutes it with an iron fist. I'm afraid that in the future, society will only go downhill."

The three college students started to engage me on this new topic. I answered each of their questions, and told them about the persecution of Dafa practitioners and the brutal methods used by Jiang's regime. Finally, I told them, "The things that your minds have been filled with did not come from your own investigation, so if it turns out that the news was fabricated, then haven't you been fooled?" I paused for a little while, taking a look at their puzzled faces, and then I said slowly, "If you do not want to be fooled, the best thing to do is to listen to the hearts of the persecuted. There would be no harm but many possible benefits. Do you want to learn the truth?"

"But how can we learn it?" The graduate student majoring in journalism seemed not very hopeful.

I took a VCD out of my purse and placed it in front of her, "Please watch it carefully." She took it excitedly and kept thanking me. The other two students immediately asked, "Do you have more? Please give me one." Later I found out that while I was clarifying the truth, several workers on the train were quietly listening as well!
