In September 2002, guards at the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City of Heilongjiang Province started a new round of brutal persecution against the approximately 100 Dafa practitioners being detained in the forced labor camp. Starting after lunch on September 7, the No.4 team leader Hao Wei forced Dafa practitioners to stay in a squatting position for long periods of time, hoping to force them to write the "3 statements" to denounce and give up Falun Gong. Since then, everyday the practitioners are subjected to this cruel treatment from 5 a.m. to midnight. Those who refuse to squat are kicked to the ground and then forced to squat. Those who refused and those who could not remain squatting are beaten. On September 11, Dafa practitioners Sun Kaiqing and Li Zhi'an were knocked down violently by the guards. On the way down, they hit their heads on the heating equipment and immediately started to bleed profusely. The team leader Hao Wei declared shamelessly, "This is self-mutilation. They should be locked up in the small solitary cells and have their sentences extended." On September 12, Dafa practitioner Xu Haibo fell down the stairs and was also detained in the small cells. Later on, other practitioners were also shocked by electric batons and hung by their handcuffs so that their toes could hardly touch the ground. In addition, police also pulled the feet of those Dafa practitioners that were hung up and pushed them back and forth to cause more pain.

Police treated those Dafa practitioners that were detained in the small cells even more brutally. The frequent cries of pain from those tortured practitioners were too miserable to bear. At present, more than a dozen Dafa practitioners who were sent to the forced labor camp for a second time are now being detained in the No. 2 team. Dafa practitioners that were imprisoned in the No. 5 team and small cells are still continuing to persist with their pure, determined hearts in spite of the harsh conditions.

The above is what I have personally experienced and witnessed. I hope all people of good will can pay attention to what is happening. Moreover, I would like to make the following declarations on behalf of the fellow practitioners who don't have the chance to go on-line to make these solemn declarations: all of the so-called guarantees and pledges that they have written or said that are unworthy of Dafa and Teacher are hereby null and void.
