During the period of half a year, through the process of validating Dafa and clarifying the truth in such an evil environment, I witnessed for myself Master's benevolence and the process of predestined people obtaining the Fa.

January 13, 2002

Today is the first day of my detention. I saw fellow practitioners faithfully studying the Fa and doing the exercises. During the evil persecution over the past two years, those Dafa practitioners who were illegally detained here helped almost all prisoners to get to know Dafa. Some of them found a connection with Dafa. Many prisoners obtained the Fa and learned the five sets of exercises; some of them even recited Master's scriptures. This is the fruit of fellow practitioners' effort over the course of more than one year. I heard that some practitioners were shackled and handcuffed for studying the Fa and doing the exercises. Other practitioners held a hunger strike to fight for a cultivation environment. Therefore, I cherished the present cultivation environment.

February 9, 2002

Today the lawless officials approved my arrest. Their persecution against Dafa and Dafa practitioners are escalating. All Dafa practitioners, including myself, are facing an even more severe trial. I never acknowledged the evil's persecution. I refused to sign the interrogation report as well as the arrest warrant, and refused to cooperate with any of the evil's demands and orders. They couldn't do anything with me. For the first time I felt that diamond-like, rock-solid, righteous thoughts could suppress all evil.

At the same time I also understood that I would walk the path of Fa-rectification in this environment filled with evil.

February 12, 2002

Today is the Chinese Spring Festival. Two of the six Dafa practitioners in our cell had been unreasonably kidnapped and sent to this detention center from home or their work unit because today is a "sensitive day." Many people in the detention center was angry with the police and with the irrational persecution, after seeing how the police persecute Dafa practitioners.

March 1, 2002

One practitioner was released today. She was arrested 20 days ago with her husband while preparing a meal at home. Maybe the evil thinks it can relax a little since the "sensitive days" have passed. During these 20 days, many times we all experienced persecution for doing Dafa exercises. The police would punish everyone in the cell for a single practitioner who does the exercises. They do this in order to arouse the cellmates' hatred toward Dafa practitioners. How evil.

Here, we often see practitioners being dragged outside and force-fed. In order to cover it up, the police closed all windows in the hallway before dragging out practitioners. They order male practitioners to drag out female practitioners. Some practitioners were tortured to the verge of death and were still shackled. The police tie the practitioners to a bed and drag them outside only when force-feeding them. The practitioners are forced to rely on others for help to eat, drink and use the restroom. They suffered all kinds of humiliations. The male cells use even more cruel measures. The thugs tie Dafa practitioners on a bed with the person's four limbs spread out, then insert the feeding tube and not pull it out for 24 hours. One practitioner was tortured this way for more than 100 days and still did not give in.

For many days no new prisoners came in and the progress of truth clarification has been relatively slow. I felt very sad. Finally I could do the exercises, but since I cannot study the Fa I was very upset. There are many veteran practitioners. We began reciting the Fa and scriptures, and we would write them all down. After a while we had the Fa to study. We often used the time after meals and before bedtime to study the Fa, so that the cellmates could also hear Dafa. This is one more way for us to clarify the truth.

April 9, 2002

Today, one practitioner in my cell said that as "April 25^th " approaches, the police are planning to arrest lots of practitioners. At the same time, practitioners in Changchun City successfully broadcast truth-clarification videos through tapping into a cable TV system. Since we are incarcerated, we could only send forth powerful righteous thoughts to eliminate all evil that persecutes Dafa, in order to as soon as possible allow all people of the world to have a peaceful, just and equal opportunity to learn about Dafa and have a bright future.

April 29, 2002

After "April 25^th ," the police still arrested Dafa practitioners. Currently there are 12 practitioners and 11 prisoners in our cell. This number itself is enough to show the extent of the persecution. The police do not care about the lives of the practitioners and their families. They would arrest practitioners from their homes at any time, without following any proper legal procedures.

This place was designed for ten people, but now 23 people are detained here. Everyone can sleep in only one position, in only one direction, and no one can even turn over. Because of lack of water, the restroom in the cell stank terribly. In addition to the guards' filthy language and personal attacks, by their actions, the police have reached an extreme level of persecution against us. Even for such a dark place, Jiang's cronies still tried to play the "good cop," and there were even people who came to "visit" and "study." It's indeed laughable.

June 6, 2002

Around 4:00 a.m. this morning I heard great noise in the hall. A group of practitioners were sent to the provincial forced labor camp. The police sent over 60-year-old white-haired Dafa practitioners to a forced labor camp without any reason. They didn't even tell them of the length of their terms. They do not at all abide by law in dealing with Dafa practitioners.

A great noise was heard in the hall. At this time, many prisoners saw the police's true nature and shed tears upon seeing the practitioners being taken away. At this time I made the most determinate call from the bottom of my heart, "Firmly believe in Dafa! Persist until the end and welcome the day that all cosmic beings are waiting for." Within a period of around five months, I saw six groups of practitioners being sent to forced labor. They showed calmness and righteousness before they left. They had no complaints, no hatred, and no fear. They are worthy of being called "beings cultivated from Dafa."

July 15, 2002

Today is the happiest day for me since I entered the detention center. Among the 14 people detained, only one fellow practitioner and me were arrested for cultivating Dafa. Two people obtained the Fa in prison. One of them committed financial crimes and was in prison for several years. She obtained the Fa through her earlier meetings with imprisoned practitioners. She also validated Dafa for the past year in her own way. She used herself as the example and spread the Fa among people around her. Many people obtained the Fa because of her. Another person committed murder and began practicing Dafa, because she has reached the end of life. She was also afflicted with cancer, but she became healthy after obtaining the Fa, and never needed any medication. I think the demon of illness does not dare to persecute such a person. We spent some time together studying the Fa, doing the exercises and sending forth righteous thoughts.

Today the other ten people in my cell wanted to practice Dafa because of a "dream." Two days ago, a restaurant owner who was arrested read chapters 5 through 9 of Zhuan Falun with me. That same night she dreamt of the word "Fa" but only saw three sides of it and couldn't see the remaining side. The word shone with golden light. She could not understand the dream and consulted me. I said, "First, congratulations, because you have obtained the Fa, but because you only read part of the Fa, you only obtained part of the Fa." In a dream on the following day, her body lifted off the ground and rose up. She was afraid and came back down.

We used this incident to clarify the truth and spread Dafa to prisoners. Almost all of them understood together that, "Tonight we will study the Fa with you." Seeing such a situation, I could not hold back tears. Benevolent and great Master, you don't want to give up on a single person, even people who committed crimes in ignorance. You do everything possible to save people. When we joined hands with such people, Master's prompting us saved so many people at one time. Although we do not have personal freedom, saving people cannot be delayed for a single day.
